Was this drawn by someone who goes by the name a.a. in various paintchats?
Now that the old thread is dead, I can finally update with the pictures. I'm only going to upload pictures that I think are unique to that thread and isn't a repost. However, since I could be wrong, I'll also include an archive file of all of the images from the thread (at least the ones that weren't purged).
1/25
4/25
Ah, where did that 15 come from? Clearly, my mind is slipping.
This is a resize for this board due to size restriction. The original png is in the archive.
5/15
Note to self: look before you click.
15/25
18/24. Damn, forgot to number >>46. Oh well. WIP VN. Hardly serious though: http://www.mediafire.com/?zwzezcchnyx
>Making an Engrish visual novel about a Japanese delinquent known as 'Pompadour' who "no fuc around".
>>52
One of the devs has posted about that project several times now. I remember a recruitment thread for photographers (to provide background images) or something not too long ago.
>>55
It's getting increasingly harder to find OC threads because people spontaneously start them without clearly labeling them. Also, they have virtually no activity. Currently searching for the last one I saw, not sure if it 404'd.
I deleted to fix an unnoticed issue. Here it goes.
This was supposed to fill a request on the previous OC thread.
>>60
Yeah, that was dumb. Just because someone didn't want Hina_whatever to be the OP picture. Who cares?
>>68
I went back and made small changes to this picture but didn't upload it on /jp/. Here's the final version.
>>74
Maybe SAI is shy or something? There's that other MS Paint guy (not MSPaint Anon) who sometimes deleted his stuff shortly after posting it.
>>92
Sai deletes his stuff whenever it gets dissed, I think he's shy and sensitive.
One of the other artists did that too, it's really frustrating from an onlooker's perspective.
Yeah yeah. I'll get to work soon. Though for thread #5, there'll be a lot of images missing. Then again, I don't see why I care since it's mostly trolling purged by the meido. It still feels so incomplete...
One of these days, I'll get the archiving script to work so I can do nothing without being at my computer.
>>108
How many are you missing?
Not that can help (since I didn't save any pictures from the last OC thread), but the only deleted pictures I saw were either NSFW (the meido comic with her clothes sliced off), Sai being Sai, and other WIP drawings that were removed when their final versions were posted.
>>109
I mean for thread 5 aka the new one. There were a bazillion posts deleted by the meido since most of it is trolling. It means nothing for the end-user (people that only look at images post here) since you can find the images elsewhere, but it bothers me due to incompletion. For thread 4, the last thread, I'm only missing Sai's line art (I got the final version off of Pixiv) and some prototypes (I have the final versions).
It's probably better this way. Less files to go through and a smaller final RAR.
>I mean for thread 5 aka the new one.
Ah, yeah. My bad for not paying attention.
I noticed in easymodo how many deleted posts there were, but like you said nothing of value was lost.
I don't understand why that guy keeps trolling the OC threads--after all, he occasionally contributed (low quality) OC to /jp/ as well, such as terrible Ransmirk edits and weird Cirno flash games.
I'm starting to wonder if thread 5 on /jp/ will die before 4 gets put up here.
This is the uncensored version of this strip. There are 4 strips in total of minor modifications (attempt at IE thing, some underwear, complete underwear, uncensored).
2/68
Did not catch the line art. Sai was too fast for me.
5/68
Not related to anything else in the slightest, but it fits the nature of the thread.
10/68
I've just realized something. If anyone was waiting because I said I'd get to work right away (and I did) thinking that I'd be done very quickly, yeah... Sorry about that.
The process consists of sorting through a folder of porn (and I download a lot of porn), looking for the images in the thread, reverting them back to their original name, and then seeing whether or not they should be posted so it takes a bit.
14/68
There were a lot of proto-versions of this, but I missed them all.
23/68
Sure wish I had a script to do this.
28/68
Then again, that'd remove the human element behind it all. The board is already lifeless as it is.
Yes, human element makes for a cuter thread!
29/68
(´・ω・`) Then again, even if the thread is a tiny bit cute, it'd easily be overwhelmed by the cuteness of the images...
33/68
Not that this thread is making tired. It's tedious. I'm just tired because it's late.
40/68
I should check on the PChat to see if things have gotten better.
57/68
Speaking of which, I'm not particularly fond of images with self-depreciating names. Whenever I restore the name, I always feel like I'm the one making the comment. Feels unpleasant, to say the least.
60/68
Forgot the number for the previous post. Boy, I'm slipping. And yeah, the PChat is still under fire...
63/68
Was there a particular order to this? Well, they're pretty standalone, so yeah!
64/68
This was an edit of a pre-existing image, I believe.
66/68
And done. 68/68
Before I go to bed, I'll just post this brief (or not since I'm still typing it) comment.
I only follow whatever thread Repository Anon posts in the >>1. However, those threads (for obvious reasons) do not contain everything. That means that if you ever encounter /jp/ OC that you're particularly fond of that was not included in the repository and want to share, then by all means, post it here. If a thread is down and I haven't posted the images and you also have a particular image that you're quite fond of and want to share, then by all means, post it here. I'll simply post around it.
Also, if I'm slacking, doing something stupid, or you simply have something to suggest, then feel free to post here. Though, if you want a more response, then contact me on #bunbunmaru (Rizon). You don't have to address me directly or anything. Simply post your request/comment and I'll know. If I don't see it, then chances are that you're not going to get an immediate response~
If you have something that fits under this thread, but you feel as though it deserves a thread of its own, then go ahead and make the thread. There is no rule anywhere on Bunbun that demands thread-condensing. Some just do it out of habit.
I probably have something else to say, but I'm tired and I don't remember. Maybe it'll come to me when I'm all nice and alert.
So yeah!
Thread 5 was killed off prematurely by the maggots. I'll have it up by the end of the day.
>>119
There's a little mistake at the square of the Hamiltonian and at the end it shouldn't be a temporal derivative but a spacial partial derivative for the probability flux, also a missing sign when replacing the Hamiltonian at the Schrodinger equation. Nothing that would change the result.
I'm going to write a bit more of plot and draw some pictures to expand the idea before I pitch in for coders. I've been putting it off to draw the /jp/ maid but I'll get back to it.1/23
Someone mentioned writefags in this thread. If there are any interested in joining the project, this should be an official invitation to them.
Pic related. It's a study of the protagonist ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL.

I would prefer it if you (in this case, plural for all the past and future Anons) cease making any congratulatory posts regarding me, the OP. It adds to the clutter without adding anything of importance.
That is what I would like to say, but thinking about it, the very nature of this thread allows people to help each other and if they want to thank each other, then they should be able to do it. I could say that I, personally, don't want the thanks for the previous reasons listed, but since we're all anonymous in this thread, that wouldn't work either. There might even be a day when it's not me doing most of the work, but someone else (I can dream~) and they may have a different mentality about it.
I think the best rule of thumb would be to only thank directly. I mean, would you quote 20-ish posts just to say thanks? No, that would be awkward. However, if someone uploaded something that you've requested or answered something you're not too sure of, then thank away. After all, it's specific. Specific enough, that it can be even be called significant.
Then again, there are also people out there that don't believe in thanks inflation and would give it away as freely as they give kind thoughts. There's nothing bad about that and the world may even be a better place if everyone was fuwafuwa in disposition. How troublesome...
Of course, there's also the possibility that I'm being presumptuous and the thank is not in fact for me which makes everything moot. If that's the case, then I apologize though I still stand by what I typed. All in all, I'm just bored...
/jp/ sure is fast; both of the newer threads died. For the 'thread', I'm just missing the vanishing Miku image. I'll upload what I have later~
>>232
More like people aren't contributing to them. Also, stop procrastinating.

You know those times when you forget to add something, hit esc to stop the transaction, type in what you forgot, submit the post, and then find 'This file has already been posted here'? I hate those times.
18/24
And no, I did not catch the Miku image. It disappeared before I could get it. Mysteriously~
19/24
I think it's kinda cute. In a way...
22/24
Managed to dig up some old music from an old VN project I worked on briefly a couple years ago. Not exactly done in a weeaboo style, but more in a faux-orientalism sort of manner. Anyways:Unk Track.1: Box
I made an arrangement of Satori's theme:【東方自作アレンジ】 孤立 ~ Helplessness: YouTube
>>260
Hmm. Looking back, it looks like I've always included special links at the very last image. It doesn't fit the description in >>1 exactly, but I've always done it. Strange, huh? Seeing as how I've done it for so long, I see no reason not to do it now.
However, let's say that an OC thread in the repository just happens to not have any original images. If that happened, then I wonder what I'd do...
Oh no! The last thread just died early again, and it was looking somewhat promising too. Oh well.
I can't draw, but I made an arrangement of U.N. Owen (Because I'm very original).【東方自作アレンジ】 Happy Destructive!: YouTube
However, let's say that an OC thread in the repository just happens to not have any original images. If that happened, then I wonder what I'd do...... Yeah, well, now I know what I'd do. I'd still post it, but would complain about how repository Anon is slacking. Majorly. Not a single anything... But I'm a simple person. Who am I to go against the repository?
I guess no one saved http://archive.easymodo.net/cgi-board.pl/jp/thread/4898109#p4919300 before it was deleted, huh? Darn.
>>277
Spring break ended long ago for those of us on the quarter system.
It's somewhat humorous how a lot of people seem to [b]want[/b] to work together to make a VN, but despite that these OC threads are floundering.
>>278
えーマジBBCODE!?
To be fair, they're two entirely different things. For images, it's an independent activity that involves constant work to contribute just once or twice, but for stories, it can be much more social and casual. Not to say that stories are much easier than images, but with a story, you can more easily converse with someone in small bits at a time, doing complete 180s if necessary. This is for things in development, of course. For finished works, it's about the same.
>>279
Ah well. Doesn't BBCode work in /general/ though? That's why I foolishly assumed it would work in here too.
It appears that the collaborative attempt to make a VN has died, unless activity continues off of /jp/ somewhere. I didn't save any of the images generated in those threads, otherwise some of them might have been worth posting in there. Maybe.
>unless activity continues off of /jp/ somewhereI really don't know if there's still anyone working on it, but if there's any twitching, it'll either be on /jp/ or here on the kureha site. Which reminds me. I was going to organize the entirety of the thread series, but got bored near the end of the first thread. And it was 1800 words too... (orz) I probably should've copied the original posts as is instead of poking with it, but none of that matters now, so yeah!
>otherwise some of them might have been worth posting in there. What there are you talking about?
>What there are you talking about?
Typo. Should read "...otherwise some of them might have been worth posting in HERE. Maybe."

Oh, I lied. Apparently, I have 4 others (2 already uploaded by the nice Anon), but they were saved on my desktop instead of the download folder.

Here's something that you guitar players might enjoy. It's a TAB of Native Faith.

PDF - http://www.mediafire.com/?2ktrnjywy2z
I take no credit for the original tab but I reworked the guitar part to utilise a different tuning, and make the stretches easier for the fast crazy bit. I also transcribed the solo from a different guitar arrangement (pic related) and put it in with this one because I thought it was kickass.
This is a hard song to play, I'll try and get it up to speed over the next few days and post a recording ASAP
---
Here's something to keep the thread alive. A little tasteless guitar noodling over "Transient Future". I'm experimenting with all fourths (EADGCF) tuning for the guitar and I've only been using it for a couple of weeks so that's my excuse for the bad playing.

Ah, and I am missing some images, but they're troll reposts. The meido is extremely active. I probably have something else to say, but nothing comes to mind.

I've been writing a terrible MIDI metal song in Guitar Pro, it's still a work in progress. Listen warmly while your ears bleed: http://www.mediafire.com/?jmjtnztdzyd
(I cant ever seem to get the RSE guitar to work on my copy of GP5. It used to work a long time ago when I had a different version too... Here's the GP5 file anyways, if you want to mess around with it. My knowledge of bass is nil, so the bass line for most of the riffs is really minimal. I couldn't figure out the proper tuning for the bass since, so forgive me if it's a pain to understand.

It's finished.
Had to lower the quality a bit since the filesize was too big for Tindeck.

I finished the song and recorded the guitar tracks with the best sound I could get out of the RSE thing in Guitar Pro (and it still sounds like crap). I also downloaded audacity and decided to try and mix everything, and I guess it turned out alright.

Taking more recording requests, Zunbar? Was thinking about redoing this older piece here, so if you wouldn't mind recording the guitar parts for the first minute or so...

I finished making a bassline for your song! Check it out:
http://www.mediafire.com/?zmmlyfnmdm3
I mostly just followed the guitar lines with a few embellishments here and there. I think it sounds pretty good, heh.
I also tried slowing the song down by 15bpm, I think it sounds a little better because it allows some more space in between the notes. At 165 bpm the streams of 8th notes feel a little crowded. That's just my opinion though.
Anyway, enjoy. If Zunbar is actually going to record the guitars then I can record the bass for you.
