Anyone have any particular doujin music highlight groups / albums / songs that you really enjoy?

I love mneko - nekology. It is probably the best Doujin release.

I've always considered this one of the best Touhou piano albums. This song in particular is just wonderful:

I could use some denpa.

Believe it or not it makes great workout music... or just music I like. I wish I read more in to the denpa thread from old bun. I hope that denpa guy is still around, and maybe he might help me out?

Here I am (OP from denpa thread). If you need good albums, check >>36945. Also anything from MOSAIC.WAV, ave;new project, etc. Is there any denpa artist or album you like?

Another good album is Nanahira's ゴキゲン77゚↑.

I uploaded this for someone the other day, might as well share it here too since it seems to be rare.

More information for anyone interested.

Hello bun.
I have just finished watching Welcome to N.H.K.
I have loved the characters as they are more relatable then the animes I had watched up till now. I want to know if are there any such anime/manga/franchise that have characters with "problems".

One other thing is that I came to realization that there exist a great deal of NEETs after watching the series and reading this survey here:>>12738
Mind you, I knew about the hikikomori condition but it never occurred to me that they are quite the population. I suspect that the demographic is around 18-26, people who should be in the college or on the verge of having a job defined by their degrees or abilities. Being on the same demographic, I sometimes feel like turning into one. I never do.

I want to know if there are any of you who "was" in there.
Any theories as to the cause and cure?
Are those people "content" with what they have?

>>37224 I hear you. That is also why I loved Evangelion, all of that mecha was cool too, but the real deal was that they were all struggling with their identities. Even though I prefer animes with older characters evangelion had them younger but mature, or in the process of maturing.

>>37243, >>37232 I hope you did good with the interview. One step at a time. Also, what drove you into it?
>> No.37245
The interview went fine, the problem was I don't have any experience in the field I was applying for (retail sales). It's also a shop at an upscale mall, so I'd have to deal with rich people all the time, and I've never done that either. But honestly I just need the money while I look for a real job. A lot of stores are currently hiring seasonal temp workers to stay on the next two months.
>> No.37283
Good for you!
I might get a job soon if I'm lucky, also in retail. The human resources dude said he would check if anybody needed help, probably a good sign, hopefully they're not fully staffed...

>That's bog standard for IRC as well, friendo.
On IRC, joining a server is 100% silent. Only joining a channel shows a notification, and as those notifications are also repeated frequently for people already in the server joining and leaving or getting disconnected, pretty much all clients de-emphasize the join messages and people rarely notice someone new joined until after they've already been there for a while. In contrast, basically every Discord server has a separate welcome channel where you can very specifically monitor new arrivals, and many even have a bot that calls you out for joining specifically so people can get a notification of joins (which otherwise don't trigger a notification).

>you had to be online to get messages
For those who can't leave an IRC client open there are bouncers. It was possible, it just wasn't as user-friendly as Discord.

>and you couldn't read the logs of any channel you're in
Basically every client supports logging chat to a text file (something Discord to this day does not support) and many clients can display message history. Search was also a whole lot better (using whatever search algorithm you wanted), whereas on Discord you can search for the string 'stun' and it will ignore every single message containing 'hitstun' because apparently that doesn't contain 'stun'.
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

>I must admit that the emoji and the avatars are advantages Discord has over IRC.
Radio bots, music, graphic emojis, games etc. All of it is unnecessary bloat. Maybe the avatars can get a pass. Not to mention text-based chat games and emoticons have been around for decades now.
