It took a while for the chart to get posted, but here it is.

Seem to be a lot of series that could be good this season, but none that jump out as definitely being worth looking forward to. The first episode of Alice to Zouroku was nice though, so at least there's that.

Speaking of, I know chartfag's archive ( https://chartfag.wordpress.com/ ) stopped some years ago.
Is there a place that has all of the recent ones from the last while?
It's nice to reference when I need to remember the name of something that aired some years back.

I also miss the /bun/ who would share their knowledge of the industry/directors/cast/etc. and provide much more helpful summaries of the shows each season. He's been gone for a while though.

This season I actually dropped a few things more than I thought and ended up picking up and enjoying more too.
FAG and Busou Shoujo were surprise hits, Eromanga, Uchouten, Twin Angel and Alice all delivered and 4 good shows isn't half bad for what I was expecting.

I was pleasantly surprised, you are quite good.
But setting your dreams on fire and taking a train to nowhere is sort of depressing.

Thank you for giving it a listen!

Also, LOL, the meaning I intended there was "descend from a train, bus, or other form of transport." The fire meaning didn't even cross my mind, since we almost never use it that way here. Maybe it's just a cultural thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

D-did the joke flew over my head...?

Let me tell you a tale.

It took place 2,900...no. 322 seasons ago.

Well..

To me it seems like only yesterday. To you, could be next week.

It's a story of a girl.

Known for 72 different atrocities, hmm what shall I call her..?

When I first met her, her name was...

Sanae!

I ended up buying it

It comes with a pretty nice book called "Crusher Joe Creation Note" that's almost entirely settei. Bonus disc has a ~1.5 hour interview/chat thing with Haruka Takachiho, Yasuhiko Yoshikazu, and Alfin and Joe's seiyuu. Bonus disc also has an additional, pointless recording of the movie. I agree with the Japanese amazon reviewers who said it's too expensive and they could have left out the OVAs because no one wants those. I also bought the Crusher Joe Designer's Note, which nicely complements the book that came with the BD, and which has an interview with Gen Satou and Yasuhiko Yoshikazu. This interview was a lot more interesting to me personally than the one that came with the BD, and it cost less. Designer's Note also reveals the secrets of the Special Design credits. All in all much more bang-per-buck than the BD special features.

Did she become pure again at some point, or does she remain soiled and brown for the rest of the series?

This thread was in the old /bun/ and it got me hooked on moe music. It seems there were some people interested too so let's share some denpa and moe music!

Denpa song (電波ソング) is a Japanese slang term to describe a kind of music which often features intentionally off-key vocals, weird lyrics, and an extreme ability to get stuck in your head. It’s usually extremely up-beat, happy, cute and ocasionally fast. (from last.fm)

Many eroge and anime fans may already know some songs without realizing it. Most of it is doujin music, but it has been getting mainstream attention with moe anime openings like Ika Musume or Mitsudomoe.

Best english source: http://www.denpanosekai.com (and a nice sampler by them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSFqO4kQOkY)
An example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNSbgOMp7jQ

(Album from picture: U - ULTRA☆U -GALAXY- http://www.mediafire.com/?6ycom4azl9q627u)

I hope the guys from the last thread are still here!

I think it should be known that nyaa.si is run by the mods and cronies of old Nyaa, the "Cartel" as they're sometimes known, while pantsu.cat is run by an anonymous /g/ user.

Some advantages pantsu.cat has/will have is allowing uploads from any groups, meaning no more excluding Doki etc., being FOSS, and having regular database backups.
