>The Graduate School of University of Tsukuba, Japan, has just launched the VPN Gate Academic Experiment Project with the aim “to expand the knowledge of Global Distributed Public VPN Relay Servers.” >Volunteers have given the University access to dozens of VPN servers located all over the world which people can access from pretty much any device running Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and more. No sign up or user registration is needed. Once connected the user’s IP address is hidden and switched for one issued by the VPN of their choice selected from dozens around the world.http://www.vpngate.net/http://torrentfreak.com/free-access-to-dozens-of-anonymous-vpns-via-new-university-project-130324/
The US will get this shut down soon enough. What if people use this to torrent hollywood films and music! Oh, I mean, child porn and terrorist bomb blueprints.
I don't know if any of you guys remember this game, but a few people from /tg/ have started a freeform league that's taken off pretty well. For those who don't know, Mordheim is a skirmish wargame adapted from the Warhammer tabletop game, but on a far smaller scale, with individual customisable units and experience gains. It's the best thing GW have ever made imo.All the information can be found here: http://1d4chan.org/wiki//TG/heim
A couple of of us have already played a few games. Some dumb orcs from Finland managed some lucky victories against the pure proud skaven master race.
Dumb rats think they tuff. No-one's tuffer than an orc.
>>44914I can't tell if that's a WH40K ork or WH ork.
>>44917No dakka?Unless that's a Snakebite then it's definitely an orc.
Well that was lucky.
Is it to early to start this thread? Either way, lots of good looking stuff. Will most likely be watching;-Girls und Panzer-K-Chuunibyou (How many more characters do we possibly need with eyepatches)-Robotics Notes-Magi-Little Busters-Jojo's-Zetseun-Psycho Pass-Onii-chan somethingMaybe it's just because this season is pretty mediocre, but I think this next season looks really promising.
>>44689We decided that she must be hard M and gets off on the suffering.
>>44692>>44828>>44829I think this is gonna be the first anime I've watched to completion that I don't store on my externals and just delete. Someone edit all the best nanami and misaki moments into one video so I can have that instead
>>44830Asking someone to watch this show more than once? You're a monster.
Even though I was getting sick of sakurasou, the last episode was really nice. I would never rewatch it in a million years though
>>44830>>44831>>45016Slowpoke here, forced drama everywhere, annoying characters and damn, Sakurasou sucks. It's like a modern 24-episode Maison Ikkoku.
Top of the morning to you fine gentlemenDo any of you good sirs know when to expect the second movie in the Berserk Golden Age series will surface inside the interenets.I've just heard that the third one is just about getting released in the land to the east where they makethed the motion picture in question.Best regards
Top of the morning to you fine gentlemenI have feasted my eyes on the second movie in the Berserk Golden Age series and I am quite pleased even though the greatest hero of them all has yet to make a proper appearance.Do any of you fine noblemen know when I can expect the third film in this great series to surface inside the internets? My best of regards to you
>>44617The films are pretty bad in that they don't keep things essential to understanding the characters and story progression. The relationship of Griffith and Guts is not developed in a satisfying way and their stories and views are rather butchered.Even then I defended these movies, but then they decided to skip Wyald and Zodd. Fuck you 4°C, I didn't need an extended version of Griffith fucking the princess. And Schierke still a shit.
>>44618well yes I do concur on the point that the film was indeed severely lacking in respect to the two fine gentlemen Wyald and Zodd.

Hi, I drew Aya:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_MwSNqJBv0&list=HL1361880646&feature=mh_lolz
Is Aya the loli who always gets drunk?
He can't attend Reitaisai because of his marriage.>ありがとうございます。これからも適当に頑張りますのでよろしくー"Thank you. I will be putting in adequate amount of work, as I have been doing all along."His wife's pretty cute.
Why the hell did he get married?Does he want some stupid bitch to steal all his hard earned Touhou dosh?
>>44569He already spent his touhou dosh on drinking money, so it's ok.
>>44526Reported for racism.
>>44582dw i banned him- posted from my ipad
>>44582reported to ZUN, I hope, so he can come to his senses

>>44314Manabi/Anime Saving are absolutely meaningless and included as a joke. The 10k one is rather arbitrary but you can safely assume that anything averaging that much was a hit.

>>44504-Hell yeah Jojo. Daily rankings looked good but this is surprisingly great, mostly due to DVDs being much larger than I expected. I guess a much cheaper DVD helps a lot with something really mainstream like Jojo.-Hell no Magi. Fujoshi buying this makes me sad because the show is an unfinished piece of crap. Hopefully it will plummet when the ticket events are no longer bundled.-What the hell Garupan. I thought it would be rather quiet this week because there's no Amazon restock until the 15th or so but it somehow sneaked in over 3k again. I have no doubts about it hitting 30k now, who the hell knows how far it'll go.Amazing season with the most +10k volumes we've ever had. And spring 2013 looks very solid again. Fuck yeah, cartoons.
Wow, JoJo's is doing really well! I'm so happy now; we might see a third season, and a fourth if that does well. Which means the best villain. Hell yeah!
New general anime thread for older and/or non-seasonal anime. (ie. ones which don't fit into the current season based threads)
>>44337The Nico subs are fine, there's no reason to wait for FFF unless you have some odd, deep-seated loyalty to them. Also Nekogami sucked.
>>44337with kiteseekers-subs you might as well learn japanese anyway
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsfm5jgVAOMKyou no Asuka got an adaptation back in August. I'm surprised nobody bothered subbing it, there's apparently 20 episodes by now. I liked what I read of the manga, and now that I know Fujiwara voices Asuka's dad I'm more interested in watching it.
After some nonsense I finished Mononoke, and I liked it quite a lot. It looked stunning, and while the characters at times got on my nerves, the MC's lovely voice calmed me right down. The music was really fitting, and the voices (especially during the hectic parts) were spot on.And the MC is sooooooo hot, omigosh
Is anyone still watching this?
>>42148>The transformation animation bias upsets me.I think it's hilarious. It's like in Smile, where everyone gets a kickass transformation scene except for Reika.
>>42149This is one thing that upsets me about the show, it's like it forget there are other Saints than Kouga, Yuna, and Souma. Haruto gets some screen time but it barely feels like he has much presence, Ryuho got decent screen time during the school parts but after that they wrote him off because of his sickness, Eden is still evil, and while I mentioned Souma earlier he has more presence than Haruto but still feels like he's just there.
I've decided to continue to watch Saint Seiya, as this week's episode was fucking awesome. It's just too bad Souma left the team.I wish this show would be more consistently good, the difference in quality and direction between episode 18 and 16 is so big they could've been from two separate series. >>42149Ryuho is returning next episode. I'm assuming they're aiming for the water place now that they've done all the other elements. Lightning place and Eden is obviously last.
Bah humbug. Anyone else irked by the fact that Ryuuhou didn't plucked his eyes out? He was even up against the Perseus saint, ffs!
Why Omega ;_;
The next season is almost upon us, and thus it is time for a new thread.Fate/Zero is about the only must-watch in there for me.Might take Upotte, Hyouka, Tasogare OxA, Jormungand, Acchi Kocchi and Nazo no Kanojo for a spin, see if they're any good, though I don't expect any of them to blow me away. The whole season looks a bit average, really, but someone winds up saying that every season, so whatever.
>>42617Don't think you have to worry about a second season when they're done with the source material, spinoff aside.Hyouka is by far the show I've enjoyed the most this year. I never expected Takemoto and Gatoh to work together at KyoAni again, and I'm glad to see they're as good a team as they used to be. There's no reason to complain about FMP anymore if they produce stuff like this instead. Kadokawa can keep being an asshole about their IP for all I care, KyoAni's talented enough to make an excellent show out of an average mundane mystery novel.
>>42618Fair enough. What was it about Hyouka that you enjoyed so much?It had a few good episodes, but I wouldn't really rate it as highly as you do.
>>42617Really? All I've heard is that the end was "beautiful", "moving" and stuff like that. I haven't seen it myself, but feedback seems very positive. Was it the story part you didn't find interesting?
>>42625I'm not that guy (in fact this is probably my first post in this thread) but I've finished Hyouka so I'll go ahead and put words in his mouth.Hyouka was extremely dull. Yes, the story is not very interesting. It takes a "mystery of the week/two weeks" approach, but the mystery is never exciting or intriguing in any way, once the answer is obvious you get to spend 20 minutes of the protagonist explaining the solution to the female lead, etc etc. Each individual episode of Hyouka is not worth watching, and as a whole there is nothing extra. I mean, you could basically put any episode as stand-alone with a brief introduction to the characters. There's no over-arching plot or character development or anything. The ending wasn't beautiful or moving or anything like that. It was boring. No climactic moments, no resolution, no nothing. Of course that's to be expected since there was no tension or buildup or anything at all that needed resolving, Jesus Christ but still, you'd expect a finale episode to be special in some way. Any way at all.The only good thing about Hyouka is that it is very pretty to watch. The character designs are nice and there are five million frames per episode.
Last episode of Uchuu Kyoudai was very touching. I'm glad I've kept up with the 40 episodes so far.
