Anyone have any particular doujin music highlight groups / albums / songs that you really enjoy?I love mneko - nekology. It is probably the best Doujin release.
Girl's short hair. They get my foot tapping and fist pumping.
I love Vibration of Womb. It is probably the best doujin release.
Although I'm not a huge IOSYS fan, ARM did a great job in ワァオ!ハイパー電波チャン.
>>36936That album was great! Thanks for posting it.I especially liked the remix of Algorithm March. I fucking love NHK's shows for children. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-EDlYSua54I couldn't find a good video with the march, so have one with the Japan's women's football team doing Algorithm Callisthenics instead.
Just heard this song the other day, and it blew me away.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3RJyoedkPEThe rest of the album was pretty good as well.
>>369441000% THIS!
>>36944Been meaning to listen to this for ages (since around when it came out.) Was kind of disappointed it wasn't their usual psytrance.
I can't get enough Shibayan.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M9RFtziALcI also love Alstroemeria Records and Syrufit, especially when Mei Ayakura is involved. Something about her voice just makes me feel the songs more than most.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGfDTsXQdPQOther than that, SYNC.ART'S and k-waves lab make beautiful music too.
>>37063I love k-waves lab, too. Conditioner for the soul, and great when working.I've always been a fan of Sekken-ya, myself.
>>37063>SyrufitWhere is Love was fantastic.
>>37070Yeah, Sekken-ya is great. I like some of the music videos people have made for them, like "Tewi! Eientewi version". I'm pretty sure the art is by Noya who is also great.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFRq4DxqaMo>>37073Yes it was! I also love the "docking" (my term) albums, like Syrufit - Love Hearts? & Cytokine - Dead Man's Hand, or Poplica - love & Syrufit - over, or the Trois Rouge, Noir & Bleu collection of ALiCE'S EMOTiON, Alstroemeria Records, and SoundOnline. I'd love to buy some physical copies of these if I could, but mostly I've just found Silver Forest, SOUND HOLIC, and Hobby Atelier Carrot Wine on eBay so far.Yeah... I could go on all day about Touhou groups I love. The music is my favorite part of the series.
EastNewSound is pretty awesome for trance muzak. There are very few tracks they've made that I didn't absolutely love.I also follow the usual groups: ALiCE'S EMOTiON, Alstroemeria Records, CROW'SCLAW, TAMUSIC, and dBu music. ALiCE and Alstroemeria's albums are usually a mix of great and medicore tracks, although recently it seems like they've been declining due to heavy dubstep use(In particular, ALiCE's RED album). CROW'SCLAW however has only been improving; their recent album even included vocals, which they've only done once before. dBu music releases instrumental arranges of most every track from the game OSTs, except for the fighters (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEBUD_4T9XA is one of my favorite tracks from these guys). I haven't listened to much of Silver Forest or SOUND HOLIC, but the couple albums I do have of theirs are pretty good.
>>37078I agree ALICE'S EMOTiON releases have been getting worse (since Intervention or maybe before that), however...>heavy dubstep use(In particular, ALiCE's RED album)What? They haven't released one dubstep track, to my knowledge.Amusingly, Deeper Underground (upcoming M3 album) has a dubdrumstep track. The album is also sounding pretty good, all instrumental and lots of hardcore.
>>37078Yeah, despite the awesome title, Haunted Dancefloor was an overall disappointment. Though I don't think it was because of the dubstep. At least Syrufit's latest album was great.I've actually never listened to CROW'SCLAW. Any specific albums you'd recommend?
>>37009So far it's pretty good. Thank you, anon-kun!
>>37097Crossfire Barrage and Brutal Games for Reminding of Death have really poor sound quality, but the others are all good. Over the Rainbow is probably my favorite of their touhou albums. They also have some CDs out that are arranges of other game music, like Fate and Tsukihime, which are fuck awesome too.
>>37098Not a problem, dear anon. Here's a Mediafire link to that album that I forgot to put in my other post.http://www.mediafire.com/?z50br1kycui3g25
I've always considered this one of the best Touhou piano albums. This song in particular is just wonderful:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0325YkV-X0
I could use some denpa.Believe it or not it makes great workout music... or just music I like. I wish I read more in to the denpa thread from old bun. I hope that denpa guy is still around, and maybe he might help me out?
>>37342Here I am (OP from denpa thread). If you need good albums, check >>36945. Also anything from MOSAIC.WAV, ave;new project, etc. Is there any denpa artist or album you like?
>>37380Another good album is Nanahira's ゴキゲン77゚↑.
http://www.mediafire.com/?95ca496fnl6a9 I uploaded this for someone the other day, might as well share it here too since it seems to be rare. More information for anyone interested.http://sound.jp/ankimo/fuyumikadvd.xhtm
