Any romantic anime or manga that you think's good?I read Video Girl Ai a while back and thought it was fantastic. It's also relevant now more than ever with the rise of ``favorite bishoujo-ism'' in the West. It felt like it dragged on a bit near the end but I still really, really enjoyed it.
Kemonozume and Kare Kano are my go to romance picks.
Toradora is generally very well received.I personally enjoyed Kimikiss: Pure Rouge a whole lot, despite its plot consisting of cliche after cliche. I guess it's kind of like what a soap opera would be like if it were competently written.
True Tears is worth watching, it looks great and manages to make the retard moe girl appealing. Koi Kaze was pretty good too if you don't mind a bigger focus on drama than romance. Spice and Wolf isn't strictly a romance show, but Lawrence and Horo's developing relationship and their interactions are too good to miss. But yeah, Kare Kano is in a league of its own, while Kemonozume is the greatest love story ever told.
Are boy's love romances okay to post? Complex by Manda Ringo is one of my favorite manga in general. It focuses on two boys as they go from childhood friends to lovers. Following them from grade school up until their elderly years as they deal with the societal and personal problems of being homosexuals. I thought the ending was just absolutely touching. I'd recommend everyone to give it a try, even if you aren't into BL.
As far as manga goes, I really liked reading Miman Renai and Ebisu-san and Hotei-san. They're both relatively short series about the main character's struggle with love and their own unique pursuit of their affection.Miman Renai is about an eroge developer that meets a middle school girl out of the blue, it's a cute story that has a cute girl doing cute things. On the other hand, there's Ebisu-san and Hotei-san, a story about a girl who struggles to work with a woman that recently transferred to her branch. This one is particularly nice just to watch how the protagonist develops in such a short period of time.
>>39543>Ebisu-san and Hotei-sanI like you.
>>39526Oh boy yes, I really enjoyed Toradora, True Tears and Kimikiss in terms of love story.Besides that, I'd recommend OP the following shows:Hatsukoi limitedAmagami SS(+)Yosuga no soraWhite albumSolaMashiroiro SymphonyKey stuff (Clannad, Air, Kanon etc)
Honey and motherfucking CloverBoth the anime and manga are great but I'd recommend the anime.
reviving this
I love Bonnouji. It's pretty average, but Aki Eda's art just makes it a very pleasing read.> This file has already been posted here.So this is where I found about it, heh.
>>50182It took me a while but I realized why the art is so familiar. Aki Eda is the guy who did the Touhou manga.
>>50183Aki Eda is a girl!
>>50184The girl who did the Touhou manga, then
koi kaze was gud
>>50197I liked Koi Kaze when I marathoned it years ago. I wonder how it's held up.
Aki Eda is a girl?!
>>50222Yes, and she is also a slut. Fuck that bitch.
>>50224Why, what did she do? And what's wrong with being a slut?
>>50240Of course there's something wrong with being a slut. But what did she do? I doubt she's a slut.
