The first series of the new season will start airing tomorrow.
expecting the worst, hoping for the best
I don't see much anything of interest. Recommendations?
>>52969Is this some sort of joke?
>>52967Does this even have little girls in it?
so, this is a non-canon filler series a la FMP:fumofu, only with just the U15 girls from vivid.I'm expecting lots of shenanigans and nekkid lolis.
This show is off to a pretty good start. It has some log horizon vibes coming from it, and lots of cute.Even the boys turn into magical girls.
>>52969Brave WitchesHibikeFlip flappersThose, imo, will be the best of the season, or at least shows that stay good throughout the season.
>>52977BUNBUN is actually a fairy popular artist who's been active for some time. Image is from an early 2013 series.
seems like there's more fujoshit than usual this season
My buddy won't listen to me that Hibike is yuribait and not romance. I tried telling her how the novels went, but no joy.
>>52981Women make for shitty friends. Get her to watch a non-yuribait show instead, like nanoha.
Keijo went so far beyond what I was expecting. Well done, XEBEC.
OH MY GOD, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE!?
Scorching Ping Pong Girls is really good so far. I went in expecting nothing but I'm pretty hyped for ep3 now.
Flip Flappers ep1 was really good, and it seems pretty unique. You guys should give it a try.
>>52990Could have done without the yuri undertones.
This show put me in mind of Shirobako, but with a cynical viewpoint. Way better first episode than expected.
Even in Japan, American cars are a sign of greatness.
>>52991fan service is just one of many factors contributing to flop flippers tremendous visual appeal.
meanwhile, in season 5 of Natsume, an adorable side story and next episode starts an exorcist arc.
>>52999 I think it's the best so far this season in terms of pure enjoyment. It's like the last episodes of Ping Pong, except with girls, and they're sweating a lot.
>>53002Keijo and Girlish Number are good too.
I was getting worried, there wasn't nearly enough full screen butt shots to make it a proper witches sequel.
you'd think after the first mouthful of blood she spat up the ref would blow the whistle and halt the match....and it's painful to watch the animation errors with the punches.
>>53041Just that webm of Yui Ogura killing 3 girls at school was enough for me. Uguu no Ippo just looks too stupid, and not the fun stupid like Keijo.
>>53053Ignore the rinne suffering backstory. Those girls got off easy considering what they deserved to get.
Why doesn't Cocona grill Yayaka about FUCKING EVERYTHING? This episode even opened with them just hanging out and killing time on a fucking school break. This show is so pointless.
>>53060I mean the word pretentious gets thrown around far too much by anime fags, but I can't think of a better word for this show. When do we get another dumb Mad Max episode instead of this drab, tedious attempt at symbolism?
>>53061The show has been full of symbolism from the start. I agree the most recent episode was the least impressive of the bunch, but the only 'dumb Mad Max episode' the series had was episode 3.
>>53064This is even worse than the Soranowoto shit.>the only 'dumb Mad Max episode' the series had was episode 3. How about that huh.
>>53061Well, you got your wish. Ep8 is the new ep3.
I really liked the stupid table tennis show and I feel it had no right being so good.I hope it sells well.
>>531141,291 sales according to http://www.someanithing.com/5777. Looks like it didn't sell well.
>>53114Definitely my favorite of the season. I ended up dropping everything except Shakunetsu and Flip Flappers, and barely finished the latter.
meh. I think it would've been better if they'd actually gone with the "back to reality" ending. Cocona finally gets over her problems, Salt steps in as her father, and she has fun as a normal highschooler with her friends Yayaka and the amorphous kids that I forget the names of.Instead, Cocona is still unable to overcome her problems and retreats back into the illusion with her imaginary friend for more adventures that will probably never be made considering the BD sales. Or maybe I'm not looking into it deep enough and the end is a metaphor for Cocona committing suicide and she's truly gone off for adventures forever, leaving Yayaka to take care of her pet rabbit.I still thought it was a fun show though. Something a little different.
>>53155It would have been better staying almost completely episodic, because it's clear the writer had no idea how to tie everything together.I agree it was nice to see something a little outside the box, though in this case it was a well-meaning miss.
>>53156Yeah, that would've been a good way to do it.
>>53175Have you not visited the liberal anime internet, Anon? All the girls in this show are LGTBBQ queersexuals.
>>53215Please don't ruin yuri lesbians by tumblring it up, shitlord
