I quite enjoyed the demo and am preordering the full version now.

I liked it the demo, but I can imagine the full game becoming like Harvest Moon (read: boring and repetitive) after a few hours. Not sure if I really want to fork out eleven whole GBPs for it

Here's a nice site that explains mechanics for the full game. I don't know how relevant it may be since they may or may not change some things around in the English release. Nothing definite, but I've heard some people say that some numbers were changed around.

Finished Muvluv Unlimited. To be honest I think I prefered Extra. Unlimited just seemed like wasted potentional. The war, BETA, and mecha were little more than window dressing to a fairly generic galge. Kinda disapointing. I really liked the ending though, and I'm looking forward to Alternative which is odd considering how I bitched about how depressing it was gonna be in the Muvluv thread.

Not quite a VN, but I will be starting it soon, so yeah! I'm going to start Sensei 2 soon (now) since I've always been pretty fond of porn reading games (for when just plain erolit isn't enough) so I've decided to try this game. There's not really that much information out for this game so I don't really know what to expect, but it's non-con and that's my fetish. orz

The game is fucking awesome. Especially if you have friends. The music is pretty infectious too. I find myself humming the tunes regularly.

it was a really good movie but i didnt laugh at any of the jokes. It feels like they made the jokes fail on purpose just to put that cheesy grin on your face.

Somebody put genuine effort into this game. That's about all I can say in its favor.
The way lines are broken up is irritating, the protagonist is a depressed, angsty teenager with about the same level of social sophistication as Takumi of C;H fame who naturally somehow gets lots of love from the ladies, the old style kawaii art isn't as endearing as it should be, the audio track repeated the same nice sixty seconds of sound until I could no longer bear it, the emo flashbacks... get on my nerves, and I somehow wound up with the girl I had completely ignored instead of the one who was blushing and stammering around me, so the game lost me altogether.

That was a good sixty seconds of music, though. When I uninstall this work of art (yes, it came with an installer; Message would be proud) I think I'll save that track first.

Andrew is a successful manga artist that, in a fit of disappointment over his work, creates a character just like the woman of his dreams. But characters can't come to life, can they?

Summary: Like the Greek tale that this story derives its name from, a statue(tte) is involved, but this time, it is not the main focus. In this game, you take the role of Andrew, a mangaka, who has just purchased an antique statuette. After naming it, he goes on to confide in it all of his dreams and daily happenings. Fast foward a bit, Andrew becomes a relatively successful mangaka. After some minor annoyances, Andrew goes on to create a manga character that he wants to make rather than listening to his editors whom he names Victoria. During a trip to Comiket, Andrew finds a Victoria cosplayer and begins to fall in love with her. After some dates and more conversations with the statuette, Andrew is horrified to discover that he is directly moulding his new girlfriend through his manga... There are two possible endings to this game (three if you consider the variants of the Hubris ending).

Dreck, absolute fucking weeaboo squee owo waa~ dreck. The true QUALITY of this game can't be experienced in stills, though; the animations are by far the worst part of this, worse even than the dialogue, which reads less like VN dialogue and more like a conversation on Gaia.

Playtime: I honestly didn't play it all; it took about 4min to find all the scenes, which aren't recorded anyway so I had only to rely on the thought that once I'd tried all possible combinations of choices, there couldn't be anything else.

Story: 0/10
A girl, who, despite the game's description, has nothing to do with computers other than carrying a cheap pink netbook, goes to boarding school. That's it. No progression, no goals, nothing.

Graphics: 3/10
The character CGs are above the Ren'Py average, that's for certain, but the backgrounds are terrible filtered photographs, some of which I recognized from free stock sources. There are also no real "character CGs" as such.
