Tomorrow is my birthday! I won't have the time to do this later today or tomorrow, so I'm celebrating a bit early with a JJBA imagedump of my favourite characters.

Is it okay to skip parts 1, 2, and 3, and just read part 4?

I think I really like Josuke Higashikata.

No. Every part has a throwback or reference or connection to the previous ones. Even if Diamond is Unbreakable is Araki's try at slice of life, which makes it very episodic, you'd be missing out on a dimension of the story, wouldn't understand the emotional impact of some events, or simply wouldn't get the big picture. The least connected one is the fifth part, and even that one has themes, characters and things from previous parts reappear.

Why skip? Every arc has its charm.

as great as josuke is you really ought to read parts 1-3 first
if nothing else it'll give the re-translators more time to de-wang the part 4 scans

Part 5 is a lot of fun when you look at it like Part 3 2.0.

It IS part 3 2.0, though I much prefer Stardust Crusaders.

At what point do you feel pedophilia becomes immoral? Being attracted to children? Entertaining sexual fantasies about children? Fapping to loli? Fapping to CP? Actively looking at children in a sexual way? Touching children? Consensual sex? Rape?

I'd draw the line at involving children. Even staring at them weird for too long. You can take quick mental snapshots all you like and jack it back home, but don't ogle them with your eyes for too long or touch them.

Sure, sure. You got me there. The ultimate aim of law is to promote social good, and thus some sort of morality, by definition, must come into play.

I was arguing against the way morality was used in the OP, as sweeping condemnation of a class of actions. I suppose my point was to differentiate "illegal" from "wrong," because legality must be designed to be efficient rather than (absolutely) correct.

And my apologies for coming across as pretentious.

When the child suffers physically, mentally or emotionally.
>> No.37629
Pedophilia (attraction to prepubescent children) is always immoral in the same sense homosexuality is. It is unhealthy and should not be actively promoted by society. This doesn't necessarily mean that the state should take measures to regulate it.

Personally I would draw the line at adults touching children or exploiting them for the production of pornography.

For something completely different, William Turner. I'm not particularly into landscaping, but something that attracts me to Roerich and Turner is the atmosphere they create.
