This is how I feel about AyaS.
Even though I come here daily, I feel like I'm not really part of bunbunmaru because I never visit the irc channel. I'm just not interested in whatever happens there, but still... Feels left out man.
Nothing really happens. No need to feel left out.Regular IRC visitor here.
>>11844I visited #bun a few times. That place is full of jerks. You're not missing out on anything.Visiting bunbunmaru is enough to be a true /bun/ny.
I left the irc and life hasn't been better
#bunbunmaru is a nice place to lurk, you just have to remember not to take any of it seriously.I suppose we seem rather inaccessible to newcomers now, though.
There is a bald person asking newcomers who they are, but don't worry about it. We'll hit him if it happens again.
* AyaS sets mode: +b *!Det@this.iis.my.other.nick* AyaS sets mode: +b *!*@EPN-000GF.ZERO* AyaS sets mode: +b *!*@this.iis.my.other.nick* AyaS sets mode: -b *!Det@this.iis.my.other.nickso moe, I'm going to die
>>12675Who got banned?
>>12675This is why I will never use IRC. I will never be able to memorize what any of those stupid symbols mean on there.
The IRC channel is just an excuse for people to play SokuIt's true, I swear it on my purity.
>>12679+b means ban. -b means unban. You can see who's getting banned from the context, and the person usually gets kicked from the channel right after a +b. The rest of the message is data about the person who got banned, but unless you memorize everyone's vhosts, you can't identify most people in a +b line as it doesn't usually mention the user's nick.
>>12208This thread should be evidence enough that not very many people care about #bun. Clearly any "new" faces are really just returning rejects hoping to start over.
I infiltrated friendcirlce. They are a bunch of losers. I tried to join /bun/ but they are such a tight nit group I don't know how to join. I have no irl friends it would be nice to have some internet friends.
I don't understand this whole 'tight nit group' thing at all. I joined the bun channel and just started talking to them, why is that so hard for other people? If it's because you're not good at social situations then that's no fault of theirs.
>>12706People not used to IRC treat it much like they would real life situations. You don't just bust into a group of friends and join their conversation like that. It's different on most IRC channels, but try telling that to a newbie.
>>12706Still, people form their own inner cliques. But you have to start from somewhere. If you find something to say, just go ahead and say it, even though you may be ignored more often than not. It also helps to break in if you join in the occasional multiplayer events.
>>12705>>12706It's "tight knit," friends.
>>12711Sure is knitpicking around here.
>>12712You're being a knitwit, knock it off.
Guys, what the hell is up with Rizon? Another DDOS?I can't even get on via the web client.
My face when I played soku with AyaS
>>12981
>>12708I basically just bursted in.Worked out......somewhat.
feel, AyaS, etc.
>>11845Indeed. I was there for the first 5 months or so and after the initial drama it was pretty dull. It turned into a complete circlejerk so I stopped using the channel. Also, people were regularly talking about their penises and stuff. Pretty weird.
>>15141Penises?
>>15145Penis discussion is banned!
>>15148Banned?! Σ(゜д゜;)
>>15161Well, it's not banned now, but it should be! Who wants to talk about those things anyhow.
So, penis thread?
>>15165Penis thread!

>>15171Excellent.
A tribute to the channel's best user:http://www.ilikewhales.com/
>>15366
>>15366He's in contention for the channel's worst user, according to my calculations.
>>15376...(I have none of those rows checked except studying bullshit computer science.)
I'm glad I stopped going there, feels good man.
I'm glad I never went there.
I'm glad I started going there.
#bun
#neo-bunezia was here, #bun is a loser.>>15388-chan is cute though, we'll take her.
>>15389You are all losers for using IRC.
>>15391We're all losers for browsing /bun/.
>>15391Hey, IRC isn't all that bad.Just #bun.
>>15394Just #/jp/.
>>15395#/jp/ isn't that bad
>>15397140 silent lurkers, 10 or so insufferable faggots and maybe 4 alright people.Even #bun is better than that.
>>15398Name 4 alright people on #bun. I fucking dare you.
>>15400Krade. Oh wait, he left.Uh...Zeelo? Uh...uh...does godzilla count? Uh, um...Okay, you win.
>>15400Alright meaning acceptable? As in satisfactory? 5/10?Most of the regular talkers fit that bill.
#bun is #bun. /bun/ is /bun/. The forced drama and internet-famous-guys talk in this thread are worse than what both #bun and /bun/ together could ever be.
#/jp/ has a higher volume of idiots but a few decent people here and there. #/bun/ has maybe 10 active users and none of them are decent.#/bun/ wouldn't be so bad if the people there actually talked about anime and Touhou and the like. Instead it's just "hey Jonesy my penis is bigger than yours". Maybe it's changed, but the endless circlejerking forever put me off from that channel.
>>15401How is Krade "alright"? All he ever does is brag about what a normalfag he is and how he slept with his girlfriend.
#/jp/ is a public channel that has been around for a while and as such has a group of regulars that have become e-friends, people who talk about what they've been up to during the day and other generally non-anime/eroge related shit. Anyone new to the channel might feel a little bit lost/intimidated/bored if they join mid-conversation, because of course they don't know anyone there.#bunbunmaru is a public channel that has been around for a while and as such has a group of regulars that have become e-friends, people who talk about what they've been up to during the day and other generally non-anime/eroge related shit. Anyone new to the channel might feel a little bit lost/intimidated/bored if they join mid-conversation, because of course they don't know anyone there. If you joined #bun, #/jp/ or any other channel and asked a Touhou/eroge/anime/whatever question or wanted to start a conversation about one of them, you'd most likely be met with acceptance (I've several people do this in both channels already). The only reason the regulars don't talk about that stuff constantly is because they have already been over those topics countless times with each other; there's only so many times you can discuss a game/movie's plot with the same group of friends: JUST LIKE REAL LIFE. I mean, at the end of the day, IRC is just a medium through which you talk to people, it's not some kind of huge secret chat network that you need VIP access to join. I've never understood the hatred some people have towards it as a whole.
>>15412Nice post
>>15412>IRC is just a medium through which you talk to people, it's not some kind of huge secret chat network that you need VIP access to joinBullshit. I can't join #secret or #bed.
Hey everybody, if you want to talk about ANIME, MANGA, and VISUAL NOVELS in a PRESSURE-FREE and CLIQUE-FREE environment, join us on irc.synirc.net.What channel? If you need to know, you will find out.

>>16049Fuck yeah, Heartcatch movie.
>>16051NOW IN BLU-RAY
>>16049HeartCatch movie BD is out already?!
I haven't seen any of HeartCatch yet (save for those guys dancing to the ED), where should I begin?
>>16049The banlist is empty so I doubt that ever happened!
>>15376I have two of them now, does that make me better or worse?
>>16066They can just unban people, you know?
>>16049>And then they wonder why people don't want to visit #bun... They wonder why people don't want to visit a channel that bans whiners? Who would have thought.
>>16064Watch the series, it's great.
>>16064Begin at the beginning.
I don't understand #bun. You treat newcomers like shit but you tell people that they should use the channel.
>>16080Do they? I only started coming a couple of months ago, I got on with everyone fine.
>>16080I've seen no newcomer mistreated.Oh yeah, >>16049 (VDZ) wasn't a newcomer.
>>16083Oh. I thought it was just some random anon joining the channel and getting banned immediately after.
>>16083Regardless of whether or not I was a newcomer, I joined the channel for the first time in who knows how long, and I instantly got banned after only saying two completely non-offensive lines, for no reason at all. There was nothing I'd done to deserve being banned like that.I've been on #bun before, but I left because the ops are always like this. They ban people just because they feel like it, even if they've done nothing wrong. I've seen mugenjohncel being banned for just asking 'May I ask a question?' by an op who just didn't like mugenjohncel.Make sure to never disagree with the ops if you decide to go to #bun.
>>16087No worries. It's only you. Since you hate that place so much, it wont affect you anyway.>Make sure to never disagree with the ops if you decide to go to #bun. This will be hard, especially during those days of the week where everyone gets +o

>>16087Are you sure you didn't piss people off before? Even I find it hard to believe that you'd get banned for no reason.
mugenjohncel is one of the most obnoxious people on /jp/, and given it's current state that is really saying something.
>>16087Nobody likes you, VDZ. That's a good enough reason to ban if I've ever heard one!>Make sure to never disagree with the ops if you decide to go to #bun. Disagreeing with OPs is a national pastime.
>this whole fucking threadPlease die.
>>16091#bun people? No. I haven't visited #bun in ages. What probably caused the ban is the fact that the op who banned me is an Amaterasu staff member (and a person who hates me in general). I was recently banned from #Ammy for reasoning out who leaked the patch, and I'm guessing he just took his personal grudge to completely unrelated channels.>>16092Regardless of how much you personally dislike him, you can't just ban a person when he has done nothing wrong.
>>16096>Regardless of how much you personally dislike him, you can't just ban a person when he has done nothing wrong. Can and will. Although most people just ignore him till he leaves now.
>>16093Nobody likes me either.>>16097I'll support whatever decision the #bun staff makes as long as they keep the "keep mugen out" policy in.
>>16096So basically he's sore in the behind that you revealed that he leaked the patch. Kind of funny that you'd get banned from their channel for that when Ixrec was so desperately trying to find out who did it.
>>16099You should get the whole story and not VDZ's uninformed propaganda before passing judgment.
>>16096>Regardless of how much you personally dislike him, you can't just ban a person when he has done nothing wrong.who'd dislike mugen. He might warrant a ban for being a bad poster though. Which is doing something wrong, clearly. Of course it's entirely up to the management to decide which wrongs are bannable and which should be overseen in favor of a more liberal approach where the community corrects things socially.
>>16102>entirely up to the management to decide which wrongs are bannable and which should be overseen in favor of a more liberal approach where the community corrects things socially. Jesus, you really think there's some kind of special meetings taking place to decide everything? If you discuss like this too, no wonder why people hate you.#bun is for taking it easy and all I see people making jokes about each other. It's not a high-class society or anything. I only see you having problem with that.
>>16107Someone explain this image to me!
>>16109Daily life in #bun. New people in grey.
>>16099Context correction: no, I reasoned out who did it after Ixrec found the culprit, not before he found him. They just really, really don't want people to find out who did it for some reason.
>>16099>Kind of funny that you'd get banned from their channel for that when Ixrec was so desperately trying to find out who did it.We already knew who it was and he had already been kicked out of the group when VDZ started rambling about who it was, bringing up the genius idea of Makoto (yes, the guy who translated Saya no Uta/Kikokugai/Hanachirasu and is working on Muramasa now) being the culprit. His stupidity was offensive so I banned him, which ended with other members from the team doing the same when he tried to avoid the ban. Also this thread is horrible even by /photos/ standards, as expected from VDZ.
>>16112Come on. I haven't said anything yet. Don't make me have to reveal who did it just to defend myself. It wasn't Makoto. Makoto was just one of the possible suspects at one point.
>>16113It was revealed in a lot of public VN channels who it was, you just missed it because you (fortunately) don't browse them. We just don't want to make a big deal out of it because the guy who did it gave the patch to a friend and was backstabbed so he got enough punishment already. We had to kick him out, obviously, and working with other VN translation teams might be hard since they'd end up knowing what he did but public lynching is out of the question. And if you keep bumping this terrible thread I swear I will ban *.nl from bun. Random people who browse the board is not at fault for your stupidity and dramawhoring.
>>16114>We just don't want to make a big deal out of it because the guy who did it gave the patch to a friend and was backstabbed so he got enough punishment already. We had to kick him out, obviously, and working with other VN translation teams might be hard since they'd end up knowing what he did but public lynching is out of the question.Good. I repeatedly asked why you were so against it, but you refused to give a response every time I asked. This also solves my other two problems (I wasn't sure whether the person posted it on /jp/ himself or not, but more importantly, other people who should know about it will know about it). I didn't want a public lynching (hell, there's a decent chance /jp/ will treat him as a hero instead), but it wasn't something to completely hide either.>And if you keep bumping this terrible thread I swear I will ban *.nl from bun. Random people who browse the board is not at fault for your stupidity and dramawhoring. This is what I mean by 'taking your personal grudges to unrelated places'.> * Image dump and general randomness board. Quality doesn't matter.> * Anything that's legal is allowed.Don't ban me because you disagree with me or don't like the thread, and don't even THINK about banning a whole group of unrelated people even if I were to do something wrong.
How can a thread with such a great OP image turn out so bad
>>16125VDZ
>>16125That image is perfect to me. Aya, a big dick, nonchalantly throwing up the peace sign while getting fucked, slight drool, panties pushed to the side and skirt lifted, everything about it is fantastic. Can we make this thread about that picture?
>>16135I like the part where aya is relaxed and having fun.She looks pretty soft.
>>16147>She looks pretty soft. I agree. There's something about her in that pic that makes me want to give her a big hug, feeling her breasts smoosh against me...
THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT CATS IN HATS
Fuck you, cats.
>>16178I thought the cats were a significant improvement to the thread.
>>16187If they had come at a time when the thread was #VDZ, maybe they would have been.
>>16187That's not the point here. The point is that cats suck.
>>16189>cats suckOUTOUT, YOU DAMNED BEAST
>>16189I like both.
Dogs are way too dependant. If you ever left it, it would have no idea what to do and would just starve to death. If you ever left a cat, the fucker would be eating birds and all sorts of rodents and insects. Plus, cats are small enough to lay on your lap and they don't shit all over the house or your backyard.
>>16196Cats get hair into absolutely everything, and they're not very affectionate pets besides.I don't have a dog or a cat, but objectively, a dog is a much better pet.
I would never want a dog or a cat because I don't want their stupid hair floating around and clogging up my computer.
>>16200You could get a pet with hair instead of fur, like a poodle.
>>16207What about hairless pets? The ones I've seen in pictures look kind of cute in a rather disgusting way.
This thread's really good. Thanks!
