For those not keeping up with the news regarding Assange:

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been accused of rape in Sweden, and the UK wants to extradite him for these allegiations. Many fear that Sweden will then extradite him to the US, where he will likely be sentenced to death for his role in the US diplomatic cable leaks.

After his extradiction was upheld, he fleed to the Ecuadorian embassy in London and requested asylum in Ecuador. Yesterday London threatened to invade the Ecuadorian embassy (which is diplomatically equivalent to being Ecuadorian territory) to arrest Assange. Doing so would be a breach of the Vienna Convention (international law) and thus a hostile act from the UK to Ecuador.

Earlier today, Assange was granted asylum in Ecuador. Police are currently surrounding the building, and people are protesting outside. Invasion seems unlikely right now, but a British law allows the government to temporarily revoke the building's embassy status, so they can enter it and arrest Assange.

He's gonna get the shit tortured out of him and there is nothing anyone can do about it because the US wants it that way
>> No.29008

This sounds like the setup to the climax of an action movie. Assange is thinking furiously: he knows it's only a matter of time before he's a sitting duck in the Ecuadorian embassy and he has to plan his escape. Luckily he's not alone: he has the assistance of a diverse cast of characters that include a sympathetic but initially untrustworthy Ecuadorian politician, an adroit, sassy white heroine who is also a computer wiz and implied love interest, and a wise-cracking, Guy Fawkes-admiring anarchist with pyrotechnic skills who is heavily implied to be a chav. The final scene is a high speed street chase with Assange at the wheel and the politician wounded in the passenger side. The anarchist distracts police with homebrew bombs and booby-traps, while evading capture on a stolen motorcycle. The heroine manipulates streetlights in Assange's favor while coordinating the team over radio. The final scene involves Assange and the politician ramping onto a friendly cargo barge, shooting down a chasing helicopter with a well timed bazooka shot, then sailing off into the sunset.

This is actually the only way I imagine this whole thing being resolved in Assange's favor. Not only would he escape but he'd probably get some sick movie deals as a stuntman to boot.

From what I heard on the radio a bit earlier, law says that the British police can (indefinitely) stop, but not search, the vehicle.

I heard there were talks about making Assange a Ecuadorian ambassador, which would be really rad, but I think he's fucked anyway, unless other countries start backing him up. like Russia, I think the UK would be a lot more cautious about pissing them off.

The cool thing is that nothing on wikileaks even mattered, it was all low level dumb shit that wasn't news to anyone. But because it embarrassed a bunch of politicians just by happening, the US wants to hunt him down and execute him
>> No.29015
>>29014
Everybody with a reasonable level of intelligence and knowledge knew it already. However, most Western people are dumb and most non-Western people are ignorant. Wikileaks brought the general public's attention to the crimes our governments are committing. However, much more importantly, it gave citizens of many non-Western countries insight into the corruption in their governments (information which due to state censorship barely reached any people domestically), which was the last straw that sparked the Arab Spring.

Also, there's still "insurance.aes256", of which nobody knows the contents, but it's heavily implied that it strongly incriminates at least the US government somehow. The released cables confirmed things everybody who can think for himself already expected, but there might very well be many unreleased cables that contain information even we're unaware of.

I mean let's say assrange did rape a poor girl in stockholm. What the fuck took them so long to process the case? Why right after he does the cable leak thing? And if the case was only brought to light due to the release of the cables - anybody with half a braincell can see that it is - does this mean our governments literally don't give a fuck if we get raped unless our rapist also fucks with them?

They are both shit. Reddit because of it's unfunny garbage meme crap that makes 4chan look intelligent, and SA because of it's weird uneven sense of political correctness and it's self-importance despite the fact it hasn't been relevant for the better part of a decade.

The weird sense of political correctness is especially funny because you can talk about how you wish every japanese person on earth was tortured to death for the invention of anime, but call a woman a cunt or say you don't like a particular black person and all hell breaks loose. Someone in a thread about working at a strip club got mad because the guy talking about it was referring to strippers as "girls" instead of "women".

Canada has cut diplomatic ties with Iran, closing its embassy there and expelling Iranian diplomats.

http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/canada-severs-diplomatic-ties-with-iran-citing-safety-concerns-1.946127

I find this all deeply disturbing. If Iran were purportedly a great danger, wouldn't you want to have diplomats stationed there exactly to prevent things from escalating, or to negotiate if things do escalate?

But most disturbing of all are the comments. Comments such as

>Michelle
>Sep. 8, 2012

>I feel a war coming on :) Finally Canada shows some backbone!!!!!!!!

Is this how the populace feels...? Is the slaughter of countless men and women something to look forward to? The Iraq War had roughly 150,000 casualties, of which 100,000 civilian. And that was probably an easier war than against Iran, meaning the actual war will take longer and have significantly more casualties. Have people already been brainwashed at this point to believe such a war is a good thing...?

>wouldn't you want to have diplomats stationed there exactly to prevent things from escalating, or to negotiate if things do escalate?

That's if you don't want to go to war with them.
And the only country more overtly jew-controlled than France is Canada, so it's little wonder they are the ones casting the first stone at Iran and then claiming the other party started it.

Hell, the CIA and the FBI said saddam did NOT have weapons of mass destruction. Did that stop us from going to 'war' with Iraq?
And again they, as well as the UN, are saying that it is clear that Iran is only using it's nuclear program for civil, peaceful purposes. Do you seriously think that is going to stop the conflict that the media is painting as "inevitable, just waiting to happen because of Iran's desire to nuke America" even right before the election?

The middle east is in such a sad state because they never recovered from the last big Mongol invasion. Ever since then, it's been in a constant state of conflict. Repeating that wouldn't change anything; the same goes for meddling in their affairs behind the scenes.

I'd say that it's mostly the power play from the cold war that's the reason for the overall shittiness in the middle east area.
Anyway, why would the US do another Marshall plan? The whole deal with that was to create a strong barrier against the commies. You're being naïve if you think Marshall did it just to be nice.
Now that the US is the only remaining superpower there's no real point in repeating it.

>>29437
The main point that you and most people don't see, is that developing a semi-functional democracy à la the west is really fucking hard. It took us a couple of thousand years, and it's probably going to take 50-100 years in the middle east even with help from the west and iphones and whatever. In a society like that, where education is scarce, religion becomes a really fucking big deal, so naturally people will get pissed off when someone make a dumb film criticizing Islam or draw "fahny carton of mohadm".

"Humanitarian aid" from one country to another is plain political bribery. The money ends up with the leaders, not the people. If it does somehow end up being used "for the people", that tends to have strong ulterior motives as well.

So, I'm trying to wrap my head around the US economy in simple terms. My understanding is that Bush-kun left the Murrican economy in an acceleration of -g. Did Obama's 4 years of reign leave that in an even larger negative value or did he improve it by even the slightest bit? One of the argument of the people suffering from Romnesia seems to be that after 4 years of Obama, the economy is still has a negative speed (the antiderivative of economical acceleration), regardless of whether there was an improvement to the acceleration or not.

Well, shit, writing that down doesn't make it any clearer, but hopefully there's someone on here who can understand that clusterfuck.

If you're talking about the whole debt problem (I'm assuming you do, since the economy is just in a recession, which is declining growth, not a depression which is actual negative growth), it's a difficult issue and whether Obama improved things depends on how you look at it.

In the graph (data taken from https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:USDebt.png), you'll see that if you extrapolate the data from 2001-2009 (all of Bush's presidency), the resulting debt is lower than what Obama had at the end of 2010. However, if you extrapolate from the latest and sharpest increase (in 2008) you'll see that it's significantly higher than Obama's. Simply put, Obama's debt increase was less than Bush's at his worst point, but more than Bush in general. The increase did slow during the recorded 2009 and 2010 years.

I unfortunately have no 2011 data, which would be very useful to properly evaluate this.

As for the economy, it's more of Bush-kun got rid of all the safegards, and then when the banks fucked over the US people, he bailed them out and let them do as they please, business as usual, not a single federal criminal charge was filed. Of course, there was a bit of a delay between him signing the bail out and it going into effect, hence "Obama's bailout" because it happened after Obama took office.

The bigger issue is the rabbit hole that bush left the US to step into, with an absolutely massive revenue cut combined with a small gov.t spending increase. To put it in perspective: in the first year of the Bush tax cuts, the estimated tax revenue that was lost would cover THE ENTIRE IRAQ WAR EXPENDITURE FROM THE FIRST INVASION TO DEC. 31st, 2012 WHEN THE MAJORITY OF THE MILITARY OFFICIALLY PULLED OUT. This is what is leading to our debt problems, as in order to "sustain" the current spending, the US must "borrow" money from the Fed, to be paid back in full plus interest, and the portion of the national budget that goes to paying back the interest alone is growing at a faster rate than medicare and the military sections combined -- it's a real damn problem, and combined with the shitty economy where the gov.t can't afford to even maintain the wellfare for the poor while the poor get hit with pension and pay freezes across the board while the rich get record profits (look at income inequality), it's the sort of problem that can't be fixed without some rather extreme measures that realistically can't and won't get done.

Lastly, with how exponential everything goes, extrapolation isn't a viable option for predicting how things will turn out. It's why there are multiple "schools" of economics and such, and none of them seem to do more than be political scape goats when things go wrong or used as anything other than a means to make a political end.

>KING: Governor Romney? You’ve been a chief executive of a state. I was just in Joplin, Missouri. I’ve been in Mississippi and Louisiana and Tennessee and other communities dealing with whether it’s the tornadoes, the flooding, and worse. FEMA is about to run out of money, and there are some people who say do it on a case-by-case basis and some people who say, you know, maybe we’re learning a lesson here that the states should take on more of this role. How do you deal with something like that?
>
>ROMNEY: Absolutely. Every time you have an occasion to take something from the federal government and send it back to the states, that’s the right direction. And if you can go even further and send it back to the private sector, that’s even better.
>Instead of thinking in the federal budget, what we should cut — we should ask ourselves the opposite question. What should we keep? We should take all of what we’re doing at the federal level and say, what are the things we’re doing that we don’t have to do? And those things we’ve got to stop doing, because we’re borrowing $1.6 trillion more this year than we’re taking in. We cannot…
>
>KING: Including disaster relief, though?
>
>ROMNEY: We cannot — we cannot afford to do those things without jeopardizing the future for our kids. It is simply immoral, in my view, for us to continue to rack up larger and larger debts and pass them on to our kids, knowing full well that we’ll all be dead and gone before it’s paid off. There's no way for a third party to emerge anytime soon. The Democrats and Republicans are both too stable. Historically, strong third parties only emerge when some sort of major event causes a schism in either party (like the Free Soil Party and the American Party).
>> No.30406

of the 3 independant seats in the senate, two are libertarian and one is green. Of course, you could say mariland and rhode island are so small that a 3rd party can have an actual chance, but that still counts as something.

As far as the big game-changing thing, I'd consider the RNC thing where Ron Paul got shafted (as a big F-U to the entire libertarian and grassroots segments of the republican party) to be one such event. Telling a solid 20%+ of your voter base to go fuck themselves isn't something that is going to keep your party in power. I'm really hoping that a large portion of those learned a valuable lesson about where the republican party stands and goes 3rd party.

Really, these past few pres. elections have been so close that what the RNC did alone should guarantee Obango a 2nd term, and probably the one after Democrat as well, and with the repub. party in decline it's the perfect opportunity for a 3rd party to be something bigger than the 0.5%, marginal, and not worth reporting party that only gets actual media coverage from C-Span.

I like how this is phrased. It misleadingly makes you assume that one in two intentional gun deaths isn't a suicide, or that 75% of homicides with guns are that of prior fellon charged individuals of black or hispanic ethnicity and 90% of these homicides occur in ghetto parts of big cities where the minorities are the majority. Also note that the DoJ adds white hispanic to white non-hispanic for all their pieces of data.

How about we instead look at TOTAL VIOLENT CRIME?

Then we see that only Japan and two european countries are above the US in per-capita TOTAL VIOLENT CRIME statistics in the entire first world, and if you look at the graph of total violent crime vs. time (year), you see a SIGNIFICANT AND NOTICEABLE INCREASE FROM THE YEAR THE FIREARMS BAN IN EUROPE WENT INTO ACTION.

yes, that's the HOMICIDE chart.

not all violent crime ends with somebody dead. A mugging, burglery, stabbing, otherwise form of assault are generally considered violent crime. While there are things that vary by country (rape being considered a violent crime in some countries on it's own, even without injury of the victem), Those variances aren't enough to fully justify just how much more violence occurs.
While this chart is fairly dated, it does give a better picture.

As for the US, the areas with handgun bans (california, New york, D.C) have significantly larger rates of violent crime than the rest of the US, but also significantly larger minority populations and significantly more 'ghetto' regions as well.

In case you didn't read my post or don't understand why I wrote what I did, let me explain:

In case you don't remember, for the past several years, yurop has had 20%+ unemployment, massive amounts of immigration from Africa and the middle east, and the die cis scum ramapant social degenercy increase.

That chart is mostly accurate up through 2006, but from 2007 onward the picture changes a bit. It's not that the US's rate of violent crime goes down, but it just skyrockets all over yurop.

If only that was really true. German unemployment numbers aren't credible. People are forced into meaningless "Maßnahmen", so they don't appear in the statistics. But that's not the endgame anyone wants. People, rich or poor, want to get rich, and helping the poor doesn't help with that.
And for government officials, helping the poor means you're inevitably pissing someone who's paying for your wages.
Yet people demand that you "Do something about it". Just "not with their money because why should I give them money?"
At the same time, they dump billions into insurance against this very thing, if you want an additional layer of paradox.
Clearly what's lacking here is organization - if we can just get all the poor, more-criminal-behaviour prone populations to organize under an agreement where each of them gets a certain piece of the insurance pie, while promising to only conduct a certain amount of crime every year - inversely proportional to the amount of total tithe they receive - we'd be fine.

I wish the U.S. would've had stricter gun obtaining laws long ago, (something like Canada) but the illegal market is already flooded due to lax laws. Thus, making guns harder to purchase legally, however much of a good idea that is, probably won't have much of an effect on crime/shootings.

Hilarious.

>Hundreds of other mass murderers have perpetrated their crimes without automatic firearms. Frenchman Pierre Riviere killed his mother, sister, and brother with a bill hook in 1835. In 1932, Julian Marcelino, a Filipino immigrant of relatively small stature, managed to kill six and wound 15 on a Seattle street using only a pair of blades. In 1915, Monroe Phillips shot seven dead and wounded 32 with a shotgun in Georgia.
...All of which are less than the elementary school attack, or Columbine. Also, for some totally inexplicable reason the shotgun incident is the most fatal one of those listed.

>Guns aren’t even the most lethal mass murder weapon. According to data compiled by Grant Duwe of the Minnesota Department of Corrections, guns killed an average of 4.92 victims per mass murder in the United States during the 20th century

IQ? Brain size? This shit is literally an inch away from full scale phrenology, and it resembles the same basis for a lot of eugenics research that has been proven wrong over and over again.
If there is a correlation between race/genetics and intelligence, it should be investigated in manners that are more decisive. We need to kidnap children of various races and put them through standardized education (preferably with machine teaching), with actual control groups instead of this "hurr a bunch of kids are stooped in afreca thurfur all blacks must be stoopid too".
All I want is for controversial points to be backed by real, indisputable evidence. Is this so hard?

This is why America is doomed. American schools these days are all about lowering the bar until black kids can get over it, then having to push them over it because they still don't bother trying. Meanwhile millions of kids who had potential don't get the attention they need because their teachers are still too busy trying to teach Jamal that 5x3=15 even though he is old enough to shave. But mentioning that this is a problem is racist so America just sits there and scratches it's head wondering how even borderline retarded people from other countries can outscore us.

Uh, no. Going through black schools myself I can tell you that they get more encouragement and breaks than anyone. My senior paper deadline in high school was delayed for months because the black kids never used their library time the way they should. The teacher would focus on helping one student with their paper (such as how to spell "Martin Luther King", which is what almost all of them picked as their topic) then while she was off helping another black student the previous one would already have wandered back to the internet to look at pictures of shoes. But that data is inevitably flawed is the point here.
For example - maybe you have some piece of evidence that shows a correlation between race and intelligence (ignoring that intelligence is hard to measure and test environments are shitty at best). Even if you had such evidence, you can just as easily turn that same research into one that demonstrates culture to have the same correlation with regards to intelligence. Every piece that focuses on race forgets that while "black community" might sound as segregation era as "back of the bus", the truth remains that it's hard to ensure that black folks and white folks act the same. One can argue that the traits for intelligence is just as easily propagated through the various generations of upbringing shared by blacks (nurture) as opposed to genes (nature) unless we find reliable ways to control both.
And we can't.
Even barring more abstract concepts such as culture, there are various other factors we can correlate to race that are non-genetic - food comes to mind, and again is a factor we can't really control outside of terrible, terrible school lunches.

I never said it wasn't true, but the two sentences you just wrote have nothing to do with each other. Blame the people that wrote the bible (male) or god (the Father), but not the people that are standing by their doctrine. The idea that high ranking women would get the Catholic church to advocate support for abortion, which the bible is unquestionably against, is mind boggling. Religions are not meant to be partially subscribed to, and anyone that picks only the parts of a religion or scripture they feel good about to believe in is substantially more deluded than any fundamentalist.

I thought the Catholic church supports and has supported things that aren't in the Bible before. It'd be mind boggling if something that affects the lives of women a lot more than men did get support.

Not exactly related but I was reminded of this:

>> No.39477
>>39470
I haven't participated in this discussion so far, but the Bible itself is not "unquestionably against" abortion. It never states that life begins at conception and that the killing of an unborn child is akin to murder.

Actually, the penalties for accidentally killing a fetus (by harming a pregnant woman) are rather tame. See Exodus 21:22-23. But now that I look it up, those passages are quite controversial (with most modern translations describing it as a "premature birth" where the KJV says "depart from her").

Anyway, that's pretty much my point. The Bible gives no explicit answer to the question of abortion, so Man must interpret God's intent however he will. I think that the Church's current stance is a fine interpretation, but it's not the only one. There are many Christians who are pro-choice, and I even know some pro-choice Catholics (I live in an area where Church dogma isn't highly stressed).

But all that aside, those feminists are silly (as are most extremists). Pope Francis is already fairly "progressive," and you can't expect him to completely swing around the Church's stance on abortion. It would cause an enormous clusterfuck of controversy.

I think he put it rather nicely in his recent address: http://www.ncregister.com/blog/joan-desmond/pope-francis-evangelii-gaudium-tackles-abortion-and-religious-freedom
>> No.39478
>>39470
>abortion, which the bible is unquestionably against
The Bible says nothing about abortion. Anything the Bible is claimed to say about abortion is overly broad interpretation.

Prostitution is a more complicated issue. Prostitutes are depicted as immoral, but non-religious prostitution does not seem to be forbidden outright, nor does having sex with a prostitute unless it is adultery. (Most Bible verses raised against prostitution forbid 'sexual immorality', which does not include prostitution in Mosaic law.) It is, however, forbidden to push your own daughter into prostitution.

Lesbianism is not explicitly forbidden in the Bible, but a reasonable case can be made for lesbian sexual intercourse; sexual intercourse between men is forbidden. The Bible rarely makes explicit statements for women, so even though it's not explicitly stated you could deduce that this extends to women. There's nothing in the Bible about homosexual romance when no sex is involved.

Cross-dressing is explicitly forbidden in the Bible (Deuteronomy 22:5).

>Actually, the penalties for accidentally killing a fetus (by harming a pregnant woman) are rather tame. See Exodus 21:22-23. But now that I look it up, those passages are quite controversial (with most modern translations describing it as a "premature birth" where the KJV says "depart from her").
That's for accidental surprise abortion, which has nothing to do with actual abortion, similar to how accidentally getting someone's slave killed (payment of 30 shekels, Exodus 21:32) has nothing to do with murder.
>> No.39501

There is nothing remotely vague about the belief that your human existence is recognized by an omnipotent god before conception, and if the argument of the morality of abortion is centered on when human life begins then there is nothing to be interpreted about the impact of that belief. The Christian god has a perfect plan for you that doesn't just start during the third trimester. There is also nothing vague about the bible's stance on murder.

I'm not sure why you're bringing up the rest of this, but the bible is also clear about sex outside of marriage and sex without any procreational intent. It's all considered sinful. This is why organizations were resisting being responsible for covering birth control in the health care offered to their employees.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or just indoctrinated by your local (probably Catholic by the sound of it) church.

>your human existence is recognized by an omnipotent god before conception
>The Christian god has a perfect plan for you
>sex outside of marriage and sex without any procreational intent. It's all considered sinful.

None of those are stated in the Bible, just widely held opinions in churches (and official interpretation in Catholicism). God is omniscient and omnipotent, but what He does to your life is up to His whims. Christians generally agree that God takes care of people in their everyday lives, but there is no reason to believe (beyond wishful thinking) that He has carefully planned out your life to make everything have meaning.

There are multiple instances in the Bible of sex between non-married people is depicted in a non-negative way, and it is not forbidden to have sex for reasons other than procreation (though procreation was seen as a virtue by the Israelites (due to God's command to populate the earth), so procreation was important to them in sex). Only sex between a married person and someone that person is not married to (adultery) is sinful according to the Bible (in addition to 'sexual immorality' such as incest).

Why would I be trolling? Even more, why would you think that an establishment run by people who literally devote their lives to a scripture would pull shit out of thin air? Do you think they're trolling the entire world? Jeremiah 1:5 is the popular verse thrown around but there are plenty that reference god's work in the womb and before conception. Sex is biblically stated to be a pleasure of the flesh, and indulgence is sinful. We are talking about a Catholic issue, why would I be arguing any other perspective? If you care about why these important religious authorities hold these apparently misconceived notions about what the bible says is immoral it's incredibly easy to Google. And yes, no shit, the bible says some things that are easy to point out as being contradictory.

Seriously though, I can respect Catholics and other conservative religions for actually sticking to their beliefs. Protestantism was the beginning of watered-down, willful delusion. It's like the fast food revolution of Christianity, "Have it your way!"
>> No.39520

There are many different interpretations of the bible and even interpretations by specific sects (including Catholicism) change. The bible is clearly not an objective thing. Therefore yes it is reasonable to hold the current church responsible for current church doctrine.
>> No.39522

>Even more, why would you think that an establishment run by people who literally devote their lives to a scripture would pull shit out of thin air?
Because they have power, and power will always be used to force people's morals onto other people. They want people to be convinced that X, so they say the Bible says X, and anyone who disagrees is now a heretic.

>Seriously though, I can respect Catholics and other conservative religions for actually sticking to their beliefs. Protestantism was the beginning of watered-down, willful delusion.
Protestantism was the reaction against Catholicism going completely retarded. They've cleaned up their act a bit since (no more paying cash to the church to have your sins forgiven), but they still have a lot of doctrines that just don't make sense with the Bible. For example, throughout the Bible people are repeatedly punished for idolatry of all kinds. So what do the Catholics do? They create tons of art depicting God, turn Mary into an object of worship, and appoint a bunch of historic people as saints.

>Jeremiah 1:5
That verse shows that Jeremiah, one of the major prophets, was chosen by God before he was born. You and I are not major prophets, so we can't just assume it also refers to us. It also means nothing about whether a fetus is a human being; the verse specifically refers to BEFORE he was even a fetus, and it refers to God's omniscience (He knew Jeremiah would be born in the future, He was not referring to a Jeremiah that already existed back then).

>Sex is biblically stated to be a pleasure of the flesh, and indulgence is sinful.
Please provide sources for your statements.

>It's a shame the Bible is complete bullshit.
Even if you're not religious, you'll have to admit the Bible has philosophical, cultural and historic value.

are talking about (not everybody lives in the US, even in the Netherlands it's barely getting any coverage), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Michael_Brown. The short version is that a cop shot an unarmed black 18 year old guy, which sparked protests against racism and the militarization of the police.

The slightly longer version as is currently known:

Michael Brown and a friend stole some cigars from a convenience store. The convenience store clerk called the cops, and as the cops were heading there they came across Michael Brown - however, the cop did not know Brown was the suspect, and only stopped his car next to him because he was walking on the road and according to the officer, because he was hindering traffic by doing so. (It is possible the officer realized Brown was the suspect while they were talking, but this is unconfirmed.)

The cop told the two black men to "get the fuck on the sidewalk" (literal quote). After the two refused, the cop grabbed Brown around the neck. Brown tried to break free. (The police alleges that Brown tried to grab the cop's gun, but witness testimonies say otherwise.)

The cop then said "I'll shoot you" and shot Brown. Brown broke free and ran away, and the cop shot him in his back. Brown turned around, held his hands up and said "I don't have a gun. Stop shooting!". The cop shot several more times, killing Brown.

This sparked protests in Ferguson, the town where the incident took place, and police responded violently in military gear. Rioting by the protesters also took place; accounts disagree on how much rioting there was and whether the rioting took place before the violent police response or afterwards (though they definitely lean to police immediately responding violently).

Social media and American news sites have reported on the situation in Ferguson a lot in the past week, mainly criticizing the harsh police response and how much the police looks like the army nowadays. Stories of excessive police violence in the past year (SWAT teams raiding homes of non-violent people suspecting drug possession, injuring or killing people in doing so) have also become more popular due to the incident.

The most recent development is the revelation that Brown stole cigars from the convenience store. Up until less than a day ago, it was believed that Brown was an entirely innocent person approached by an otherwise entirely unrelated cop.

Regardless of what Brown may have done, he has the right to punishment via the legal system rather than an on-the-spot execution after the police determines he probably did it. It's not going to end up well for anyone if this kind of thing becomes tolerated.

And the militarization of the police is ridiculous no matter how you look at it. The cops don't need SWAT teams for things like drug raids. US police is already violent enough as-is, we don't need to supply them with toys encouraging even more violence.

Yes? You severely underestimate how poorly Nazi Germany was run. Hell, even them losing the war is even the fault of their own poor decisions - had they never attacked Russia, they'd probably have captured all of Europe without the Allies being able to seriously do anything against it.

Their early eugenics program also had the possibility to succeed, but they fucked it up. At the start, all they did was sterilize the people they didn't want to reproduce. Though people weren't exactly happy with it, very few ran away from it. If continued, it would lead to an extremely drastic reduction in the victims' population, almost to the point of extinction. But then they became impatient and decided the 'Untermenschen' needed to die this generation and started working them to death in labor camps, then sending them to extermination camps when labor wasn't enough to kill them all. Naturally, rumors of this happening was more than enough to cause tons of people to run away, forever dooming their eugenics program.

You can say a lot about Nazi Germany, but efficient they were not.

While Al Jazeera is indeed funded and thus influenced by the government of Qatar, it has been praised for at times circumventing censorship, promoting freedom of the press and reporting information other major news stations refuse to cover. It’s hard to imagine that there are people in the world who are psychotically twisted enough to create a video game based around the tragic death of an unarmed teenager. Unfortunately, not only are there people mentally twisted enough to create something like that, there are also people who are sick enough to visit the website, just to engage in a cartoon-like reenactment of that killing.

The “game,” which is called ‘Pop-A-Ni**er,’ features a cartoon caricature of officer Darren Wilson, the Ferguson cop who shot and killed an unarmed 18 year old kid, Michael Brown, on August 11, 2014. It also features Michael Brown’s photo, and invites users to use it as target practice.

>Niggers have no culture
They very clearly do have culture. Are you forgetting that a lot of our modern music derives from the blues, a genre invented entirely by black people? They have plenty of other culture too, but we complain about them having it. Rap, their clothing (hoodies and shit), tons of popular dances, etc.

>are the main carriers of diseases like AIDS and ebola
That's because these diseases mainly exist in Africa, and practically the entirety of Africa is a shithole. I'll come back to this subject later in this post.

>do most of the crimes in the US and a lot of the EU even though they're the minority (for now)
That's because they're in worse living conditions than the average non-black. There's a direct correlation between living conditions and crime rate.

>they can't speak English or any other language for shit.
This just comes out of nowhere. The great majority of black people in the US can speak English fine. Plenty of African countries even use English as their official language.

>They immigrate in mass because they know their countries are the shitholes of the planet, yet they bring what makes their country so bad in their bags.
How do you bring dictatorship and corruption in your bags? Africa is a mess because the leaders keep it a mess - educated, healthy, prosperous people can rise up against unfair governments and end their corrupt lives of luxury. It takes time for their societies to progress to beyond being a shithole, and the time right before it starts to get better is the part where society is at its worst - the exact same thing happened to Europe during the industrial revolution. Our average lifespans were as bad as the ones in Zimbabwe, and the masses were exploited and left to die when sick. It took us a very long time to get from there to here, and it will take them a long time to make that progress as well.

Now, let me ask you a question: Can you be held responsible for your government eroding your right to privacy, dismissing your right to a fair trial (terrorists don't deserve a trial), countless human rights abuses of prisoners, waging war in a country on the other side of the globe to topple the government and barely doing anything about the resulting power vacuum, and your government exerting their political influence to make other countries bend to their culture, values and political and commercial interest? You can't, because you're locked in a shitty two-party system with both parties backed by the same large corporations and your government is doing whatever the fuck they want regardless of whether the citizens like it or not. How much less can we hold Africans responsible for their governments turning their countries into a shithole by actively working against their citizens?

>It is true there are some nice black people, but they're a very great minority.
>If seeing some racist text on the internet bothers you that much, you've either never actually interacted with black people, are a white guilt retard, both of those or are a nigger yourself.
I have interacted with black people, and other than some kids hanging out together and being a nuisance in general I've never had any problematic experiences with them. On the other hand, I've met plenty of nice black people. I am white and feel that 'white guilt' is bullshit (as far as the 'guilt' part - I do feel that Western influence on Africa and slavery are factors that should be kept in mind when considering why Africa is a mess and problems with black people's living conditions exist; black people can't be entirely blamed for their problems in that regard).

What bothers me about racism on the internet is that
1) It's mostly mindless parroting people use to fit in or look cool.
2) When it isn't (as in your post), it's frequently partially or entirely based on ignorance or misinformation.

If we're going to play it like that, Europe is waaaaaay behind Asia and Africa. Egypt had a major civilization 7000 years ago, when Europe was still twiddling its thumbs. Africa-based Carthage had major influence well before anything in Europe did. Kush was an African kingdom when Europe was still full of barbarians. Pretty much every other major civilization was based in Asia. It wasn't until around 300 BC that those barbarians of Europe finally got their shit together (due to Asian and African influence) and got their first major civilization (Greece). If we look at the entirety of history, Africa is actually the second most civilized continent, second only to Asia and well ahead of Europe.

>it's ok to act like a fucking chimp when you don't eat at a restaurant every night
I never said crime was acceptable. It's not, and that's why we punish it. It's just that a certain percentage of people are capable of committing crimes relatively easily, and prosperity is what keeps those people from committing crimes. Poorer people have less to lose, and thus the percentage of them willing to commit crimes have nothing stopping them. If white people were as poor as black people they'd commit an equal amount of crimes.

>Their own version of "English".

That's 1000 rape cases (assuming child rape is included in rape statistics) out of roughly 6600 cases per year.

Now let's do the math. 6600 rape cases per year - in 7 months, that would be 6600 / 12 * 7 = 3850 rape cases. Now, Sweden has a foreign population of a bit above 20%, with the majority of those (let's say 70%, though likely more) being from Muslim countries. That means that, if we assume the worst-case scenario and the rape count is 1000 (though more likely the 300 are counted as a separate crime), we have 0.20 * 0.70 = 14% of the population responsible for 26% of rape cases. That means, AT WORST, those immigrants are 1.86 times as likely to commit rape as non-immigrants. Adjust for statistical exaggeration and social inequality, and you'll find that whites are as likely to commit rape as any other race.

>TIP OF THE ICEBERG as 90 percent of them go unreported
Hardly. 'Most of it goes unreported' is true for almost every country, though even then 90% is only in the worst shitholes. But Sweden? They're notable in rape statistics due to how ridiculously inflated their numbers are. Seriously, just look at this chart. If anything, it's getting overreported due to how broadly rape is defined in their laws.

I'm not that guy, but it's silly to talk of Northern Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa as if they're the same culturally. The people from Northern Africa aren't even Black; they're Arabic.

Are you from the UK?
Racism is healthy and perfectly normal. We're built to empathize and care about our own kin over other races to some extent. If you refuse to realize that and think only unenlightened, ignorant assholes are "racist" then you're very deluded, an idiot, or both.

And I don't understand your bar chart of rape. It's working against your case here. Sweden is a "progressive" multicultural shithole that invites around a thousand immigrants into the country each year. Yet they have the highest rape rate? What a coincidence.

There is huge fucking difference between prioritizing empathizing and caring for one's own kin and stuff spouted like in >>45915. If you refuse to realize that and think only pseudo-intellectual, white guilt assholes are "pro-multicultural" then you're very deluded, an idiot, or both.
