This is a thread where we record things from our day-to-day lives. Please take the opportunity to upload a photo or a video, it doesn't have to be funny, interesting, or entertaining, it just has to be made by you.For videos, I've made a youtube channel for /bun/.Username: bun.projects@gmail.comPass: AShameimaru
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtwgKE9HxsI sure wish I had a better alternative to my celphone's camera. Also, this is my failed attempt at photographing Claudia resting on my back. That was a weird way to wake up.
>>32792Thanks for keeping updated with Claudia! She is adorable as ever
RIP
>>32811Oh no :(
>>32811O:
Moyashimon marathon time!
After a life or death struggle, my cat Mephisto claims victory. This time.
>>32890Then how did you post this?
>>32892It's only life or death for him.
>>32890He looks very demonic
>>32884Hey, I have the same headphone AMP and DAC combo and I just watched Moyashimon too! Nice setup.
"Light" snow in ottawa. Taken using 3ds, but you get the idea.
The moral of the story: don't live in canada. It's terrible.
Isn't that a light snowfall though?
Looks light to me.
>>33420It was about a feet and a half of snow.
I had to pay something off, but before I did that I made this.
>>33485Canada money sure is funny looking
>>33524Jealousy confirmed. You just wish you have cool color-coded polymer bills.
Chirp chirp.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd4IJpeXFD8
>>33752Money can be colourcoded and still look cool.
>>33524It doesn't even look like money. Here's an example of colorful stuff that still looks like you can spend it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJDQxnk7FQ8http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AAM_OLNBcEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD7N961O_AI
I never thought she'd send me extra stuff for the sake of being nice. Miwa-sama I love you so much ;_; best doujin artist.
After 12 years, our family finally got another dog.She is great, I'm so happy! I'll try and get some better videos.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5I2pjfVQu8
>>36059I hope you live a happy life together.
There were a lot of fireflies in the trees behind my house last night. This was taken at a very high ISO and with a long exposure time, it was actually so dark that I couldn't see anything through my viewfinder or on the display. I just had to point the camera and hope it was in a good direction. The photos came out pretty poorly, but this one shows how many were flying around - they're all the bright green dots.
>>36106What are you saying, that's a very nice picture.
>>36106I love this.
>>36108>>36111Thank you! I guess I meant that I hoped I would end up with something that had some level of artistic value instead of just a somewhat interesting snapshot. I do think it's kind of cool in context, but I was aiming for something that wouldn't need to be explained.
So I just moved into a new flat, and it's great. And there's this cool little cubbyhole under the stairs thing in my kitchen which is nice for putting booze, bbq kit and generally anything that's too bulky to have a home in a cupboard or under my bed.
But it's a bit messy. There used to be shelves there, you can see the holes where they went in and kind of make out where the brackets went. They weren't any good, apparently, because in another cupboard in the house there are a bunch of spare brackets and a couple of shelves lying around, complete with a few screws with the plaster still on them from where the shelves evidently fell out. It's a shame, really. It would have been a lot more space-efficient to have shelves in a tall space like this.
Hullo! What's this I found outside my own flat, with a sticker on it stating "TAKE ME!"?Why, it's a set of shelves, and in pretty good nick as far as I can tell. Certainly good enough nick to bung in a hole and organise booze with.
And so, with the help of some double-sided sticky foam stuff I got from Spar for a quid about two years ago to make sure it stays against the wall and a wooden peg taken into pieces to make sure it's wedged upright, it's in.
And populated!Looks much better than >>36147 now, and a damn sight easier to get stuff in and out of. And, all for free! Well, minus the peg and the tape, but it's not a bad setup for ~25p.
>>36150Good job!
>>36156It's still the same password, I just checked.
Seems Google blocked you for finding you suspicious. Try again and see if it works now.
>>36171Um, for the "city where you usually log in" try London.I-I'm not sure if I remember the security question/answer, but try posting a screenshot of it here.
You could also try "Somerset".
New washing machine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yNmDJJ5y5Q
>>36248Never thought I'd find myself watching washing machine videos.
Testing homemade ghillie suits sure was fun back then.
>>36260I give up, where are you?
>>36275hes taking the picture
>>36275Friend in the back, me in the front.
>>36275see that stupidly obvious rock that doesn't belong under the tree? that's him.
>>36260Is your friend a bear?
>>36293No. What makes you think he is?
>>36295The camo suit. It makes him look like an animal with shaggy fur.
>>36302He took various camo clothing, cut it into stripes and sew it on one set of camo clothing. It looks like rough bark and works well with trees.I took a netcloak and threaded different colored burlapstrings into it. I think you mixed us up.
>>36310If I saw either of you in the wild, I'm pretty sure my first guess would be "bear". Especially you, though, Sasquatch.
>>36316>SasquatchHehe.
>>36316Sasquatch aside, it works. But I need to make a new suit. This one weighs over 7 Kg. I went a little overboard with the amount of burlap.
I think you did a good job on your suits.
>>36335 I second this.
What are these suits for?
>>36342Raping joggers.
>>36344Rape is not nice.
I took a video of Claudia doing this slide I find really funny, as she tries to catch whatever invisible thing is making noise. My hand hidden under the board is the culprit, but she will never know.In the photo you can see her being her usual lazy self.
>>36348Of course I forgot to link to the video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQXdlR4RJbQ
>>36348>>36351I want a cat.
>>36348we have a girl on /bun/!?
>>3636513/07/16(Tue)17:55Anon discovered that Anonymous can also be female.
>>36365It's a girly sounding boy.
So I went on a bike ride today - I'd nipped out to PC World to grab a 4GB memory stick to set up FreeNAS on, and I thought "Hey, there's this lake on the map near here I've never walked to because it's too far away, why don't I cycle to it?"
Oh cute, horsies.
Oh, there's the lake. The road bike handled the rough surface better than I was expecting it to considering it doesn't have suspension.
Aw yiss.MothaFuckin- oh wait, he's just a cyclist. Move on, lads.
So I did a lap of the lake and saw a pony. D'aaw.
>>36421>>36423Nice panorama shots.
So today I cycled along a river.
>>36421>>36423>>36577I wish I had nice pretty flat spots to go do things!
So today I cycled along a different river. Then I saw a hill, and thought "Ooh, I wonder what's on the other side of that hill?" Well, turns out there wasn't really anything of interest (I was hoping for a sea view) but there WAS this view looking back at where I came from.
>>36623And here I was hoping you'd find the end of the world.
>>36624>10You masochist.
>>36623Seeing stuff like this makes me really want to move. It's not even that spectacular (I just mean that it's not National Geographic material) but I would still never have a view like that anywhere near here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wfkph3UZtEDuring our family roadtrip I saw a train and decided to take a video of it.
>>36678Nice train.
Been throwing old stuff away all day.
Fuck you wood.
>http://vocaroo.com/i/s12AADdZXo6S>http://vocaroo.com/i/s1iaGxIcq5lLTF reads the first page of EMG Chp.18. It's strange hearing a gaijin who sounds so much like a native Japanese person.
>>37807I'm sorry, who? what?
>>37807I'm going to take a risk on you not being ironic, and say that it sounded pretty good to me.
>>37809Translator-Fag !!onPFmgid3WB gained plenty of attention for translating Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou and other Monstergirl manga.
>>37812I'm honestly not sure if you're trying to astroturf your own popularity or are posting in the wrong thread.
>>37813I just answered his question.
>>37812>>37813I'm not sure what's worse, the guy blowing his own horn or the guy saying "astroturfing".
Arise, thread!Here's the dog again.
>>38994Looks diabolic.
>>38994How did you get your dog into iddqd mode?
>>38994What's with those lines?
>>39013Looks like he printed it out on a low-quality inkjet and then scanned it.
>>39021Phone camera is a little bit fucked from being dropped too many times I think.
My dog's tired of me messing around with my camera. He just wants to sleep.
My dog is NOT impressed with my new camera.
>>39387You should let your dog know that affordable cameras don't often take photos of good image quality.
My brother's chinchilla. I let it out without his permission and it pooped everywhere. I couldn't catch it and when bro returned he was not happy.
>>39439Why would you do that? I hope you cleaned up the damn mess and learned your lesson.
The dog wanted to come with me to essex.
Shit's cold, yo.
Fungi are kind of cool.
This is my flytrap. I'm rather proud of having raised it to be this big and pretty, since the first few days I had it, I left it out on the hot sun without water for a day and all but one leaf died. It catches a shitload of bugs, you can see one halfway sticking out of the topright-most leaf that was still moving when I took the picture. The dead leaves you see are dead from natural causes.
>>40624Maybe I should get one, too. What do you do with it in winter, when there are no insects to be caught?
>>40629I live in a tropical shithole where the only seasons are 'rain' and 'not rain', so I don't do anything.I guess you could feed it... mealworms? I dunno.
>>40629 >>40629You bring it indoors for the winter like any other plant. I had one as a kid, but in the end it stopped making new traps and died, idk why.The only nutrition it actually needs is sunlight, water, and fertilized soil.
I never considered buying a flytrap before but considering how much I hate bugs it seems like it would be nice
>>40634It would take you less effort to swat every fly in your house than to water one every day, but they're cute, so go for it.
>>41021If your penis looks like this please see a doctor right away.
>>41022Mine actually looks even worse
>>41024I'm sorry...
My dog being cute on a day with nice weather.
>>41479I want to pet your dog.
>>41479Your dog is beautiful.
>>41479What a good dog.
>>41479From the thumbnail, I thought you were inside the cockpit of a jet. I then read dog and good weather in your post and I thought the dog was behind you but I couldn't see it and the ground was you being high in the sky.I'm not drunk or on drugs, just on the verge of falling asleep right now with my eyes half open. Your dog looks average by the way.
>>41526Shut up, anon's dog is great.
I bought a table.
>>41530Is that you and your girlfriend in the frame?
>>41531I think those are chairs
>>41530Seems pretty posh. Are you rich?
>>41531Yeah.>>41550Nah, I just bought my furniture at charity shops.
I took some photos on the way to get milk. This is all within about a minute's walk from my flat.
Quick nip through the park.
Along the river...
And at the shops.
>>42261what kind of a pussy ass river is thatI bet you can't even drown in it
>>42266It's a brook.
>>42268It's a brick house
I had a surprise picnic!
>>42989Nice dress. Doesn't it get the blanket dirty if you put your shoes on it though?
>>42992that blanket is clearly on the ground already, it's going to be washed anyway from all that dirt and grass stain.
>>42989People still drink regular Coke instead of Diet/Zero?
>>42994Maybe it's because regular sugar is still better than Aspartame and other dubious shit. In fact, you shouldn't be drinking this piss in the first place.
>>42994>Diet/ZeroI see that you're already on your way to killing yourself.
>>42995>>42997Stop believing stupid Internet rumors. Aspartame never killed anyone.
>>42998Better safe than sorry. Keep drinking your black poison.
>>43015I don't even drink that much soda, except on special occasions, but thanks anyway, dickhead.
>>42995"Regular sugar" is the real poison, but you're too lazy/gullible/stupid to realize that.
Everything has a lethal dose, you retards
>>43042Except love.
>>43043♥
>>43040"High fructose corn syrup" is what you mean, nerdlord. Sugar is fine in moderation.
>>43043Tell that to Matoko-kun.
>>43043Love can be lethal even in small doses for some people.
>>43053Tragically true.
Makin' my tonkatsu,Fryin' fastPanko lastCurry sauce time
>>43185Clean your stove
>>43185Man, just looking at this is giving me a heart attack.
>>43193It made me hungry.
Watching videos of decayed locations reminded me of one time I went to a six floor tall abandoned building by myself to take photos. There was a security guard who allowed me entrance, but he would follow me through my visit, leaving the gates locked. In retrospect I see that I was quite careless. I didn't tell anyone I was going to go, my mobile was dead and no one saw me enter. Most pictures turned out blurry, probably because of how nervous I was, but the ones from the roof are nice enough at least.
>>43409Good thing the guard wasn't into boys.
Polishing the pipe.Buffing the briar.Shining the smoke-stick.
>>43509What bizarre grain.
>>43509Oh, Tokiko still posts on /bun/?I wonder if he has a fedora to go along with that pipe.
>>43512I don't think he's ever left a site he's posted on, no matter how much the residents beg
>>43511That's called birdeye grain, you get it where briar's been cut perpendicular to the "tubes" running through it.>>43512I'm not tokiko, I'm the guy who posts scenery shots and food ( ._.) I just shined up one of my pipes and thought it looked nice so I shared it with /bun/. I think it's kind of sad that pipes have got the image that they're only for hipsters, autists and old people these days; I got into them because I liked cigars and pipes give a similar flavour/experience for a lot less money.
>>43512Pipefriend has a manlier jaw than Robert could ever dream of having.
We should stay as anonymous as possible.
>>43550Why? Do you have something to hide? Where's the body?
>>43562Like I'll tell you, Anon!!
Up you go.
2nd day.
3rd day, maybe. I'm uploading from Google Drive from my phone, so checking exif is a pain.
About $3 CAD.
Downtown Seoul photo must have been day 5 or so, actually.Bike all packed up and ready for second flight.
>>44087Destination: big hills.
>>44088
>>44089
>>44086What's the really bright yellow thing?
>>44091sieg zeon
The jet tractors on the way to my school are finally being deployed.
That ram lives on the farm on my way to school, and it charged me when I took the picture. Super scary!
I went for a walk in the woods with the quadrupedal member of the family, and there was still ice on the water!
Panorama photos are difficult, but the view was amazing.
There were spies here during the cold war, but then they stopped.
>>44103Looks to me like you're fighting the cold war right now.because the lake's still frozen, amirite?!
>>44092Pickled radishhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takuan
>>44107I came to the same conclusion after observing that well camoflauged dog.Keep at it, soldier.
>>44091Didn't even realize that it was a Zeon themed train until I got off of it. (Late for train, running around with 30+ kilos of luggage, disassembled bike, etc)Entrance to the keep itself (which is a museum now) costs 600 yen.
>>44161 I hope you made use of the samurai costumes and took silly pictures.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi6IJv9wSkMSeems direct youtube upload is working again, have some Claudia.
So I did some archery at Center Parks and it turns out I'm a dab hand at it.MARK NUTT!!!!
>>44573That is a lovely shirt, anon! I wish I could go shoot bows and arrows around here.
>>44573Nice job, but I don't like your shirt very much. Sorry.
>>44574>>44579Looks like an ordinary hawaiian shirt. I don't have any opinion on it.
>>44573it's an ok shirt i guess, but we need to have a long talk about shoes
>>44588What's wrong with the shoes? The white/blue combination matches his shirt, and I think that's nice.
>>44589Not that guy, but tennis shoes, crew socks, and flat khaki shorts are stereotypical "middle aged dad" clothing in America. A polo shirt and maybe a baseball cap would complete the set.
Why are people on /bun/ judging other people by their looks? Have we all become such 'normalfags' that we even apply peer pressure when it comes to our choice of clothing?
>>44600It's probably just one guy pretending that he knows "how to dress", but please, Anon, take the NEET PRYDE somewhere else.
>>44592So what kind of shoes do you wear?
>>44600>'normalfags'Don't.
>>44616Then give me a better word for the group of people who keep each other in a strict lock of peer pressure so they'll properly play out their roles as cogs in society despite not being content with their situation.
>>44618You're doing the same thing by categorizing and judging people because they state their opinion on someone's clothing.
>>44627I criticize people's actions, not their personal characteristics. 'Normalfags' (i.e. non-nerds) exert peer pressure on one another to make people inside the social group have their characteristics conform with the standards of that group. There is nothing wrong with being a normalfag in and of itself - it is your choice what groups you wish to belong to or not belong to. I simply feel that we, as a community, should not become 'normalfags' in that we shame people for characteristics unrelated to our activities as many social groups do to promote unity; we are already united in our activities and should embrace diversity in other characteristics.TL;DR: Stop caring about how somebody dresses as long as they contribute to the board.
>>44628And by spouting your whiny neet pride rhetoric here, you are doing exactly the same thing: shaming people for characteristics unrelated to their activities. So fuck off.
>>44629>>44629Not the same guy, but holy shit man. Cut down on the "neet pride pls go", will ya? Do you even know where you are?
>>44630I'm pretty sure NEET scum are a minority here, pal.
>>44592I still want to know what type of shoes are considered okay. I don't know anything about shoes, so I just buy random ones that I find comfy.
>>44633Please calm down, Jones.
>>44634What do you mean by "okay"? Any shoes are okay if they protect your feet. In everyday life, few people are even going to notice your shoes unless they're really silly. Like clown shoes or neon pink boots tier silly. If you want to be fashionable go read one of /fa/'s guides or something.
>>44634Anything currently on sale by a major brand and very expensive will do, though remember to buy new ones every 3 months. Gotta keep the fashion industry alive, those sweatshops aren't going to earn ridiculous profit margins by themselves!
>>44637What's your problem? Did a shoe shop rape your little sister and scoop out your best friend's eyes?
>>44642I don't have any family or friends in third world countries, otherwise one would've done that.
I saw an e-type jag.
>>44829Nice.
How to be the life and soul of the party: pocket twister.
>>44829Everything's on the wrong side!
That was a good burger.
>>45773*claps*
I think this is my favorite picture from the trip.
>>45842Why is Yuno still wearing her uniform? Didn't she graduate years ago by now?
Gmail got hacked, so maybe the password should be changed?
>>46020its posted in fuckign cleartext on a public imageboardfuck off
>>46021We've changed the password before because of suspicious chinese activity so I don't see why suspicious russian activity should be any different, you fuck off.
>>46021>>46023Both of you fuck off!
>>46023NO FUK U
GOOD LUCK EBOLA-CHAN!
>>47012Ebola-chan is a shitty maymay. I hope you get stomach ache from eating Halloween candy.
>>47038Thanks bunbun, I'll be sure to eat extra candy just for you!
>>47012I like it.
Since my camera broke I've lost my enthusiasm for photographing and posting about Claudia. Still, I was thinking today of how bunbun has witnessed her worming into my life, right from the first encounter. It gives me a good feeling, somehow.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkiv89a260
Claudia has a rival now!Is this thread past bump limit?
Took these today on a river trip. https://imgur.com/a/x7ASn
What do I do here? I wanted to upload a video to the /bun/ account.
>>51013I'm pretty sure the city was London. Search for the first Video and Photo Recording Thread. The answer should be there.
>>51014Me too! I typed London but it rejected it.
>>51013How do you not know whose cuteness is the miracle of the universe?
>>51013Hint: it's someone cute and has something to do with miracles.
>>51013 >>51014 >>51015 >>51018no combination of Rika or Nipaa worked for the security questionon a hunch I tried Santa Clara, CA for the location though and that worked, so if that anon still wants to upload something try that
>>51020I thought the original phrase referenced an Ichigo Marshmallow character.
Cute not pedo, lads
>>51030you'll have to forgive me for not remembering that then
Apparently the first time the phrase was used on /jp/ it said "Suika Ibuki's cuteness is a miracle of the universe!"So ichigo mashimaro must have been an /a/ thing.
Anyway I hope you get to upload your cute video soon, anon.
>>51064I'm pretty sure it originated with Ana.
>>51066It was definitely Ana.Kids these days! Citing /jp/ memes without having been to old /a/, what a disgrace.
