I just got back from Anime Expo and will be posting photos I took there. Please excuse the shitty-ness of some of them as I am bad @ camera.
Gangsta magical girls are very popular these days
SHIZAAAAAH
Official chuun2s at the Sentai booth
Animeweeblord420 himself. I've got his business card as well
Zeppeli family photo
You can't see his shorts but they say MIYATA. First time I've seen an HnI cosplayer, it was cool
Sentai brought a tank to advertise Girls und Panzer, it was very cool
A lot of jojos this year, very nice to see
I see this guy every year and ask for a picture I hope he doesn't remember me that would be awkward.
It occurs to me that I mostly took pictures of men. Whoops.
There we go all better
INFERNO COPPU
I had to push my way through a sea of girls to get to this, but it was worthwhile.
More jos
A hundred shots, a hundred hits
LWA cosplay was fun~
And a rare sight, Princess CHOOCHOO
Couples cosplay is cute, even if they are both girls
SBR hooray
She was really imposing and about a foot taller than me.
Very good costumes
Dr Slump!!
Even more SBR, hooray
Moelaire was very nice
Poor Lee had a lot of trouble balancing while blind
Well, that wraps it up. Final special of me awkwardly hanging out with Yuasa-sensei. Feel free to post any cosplay pictures you've taken, or ones you particularly like.
gross
>>36247Some friends went to AX this year too. One of them got a cute Akashi-san along with his Yuasa signature.I recognize some of these JoJos from Fanime.
>>36250I was kind of sad the Yuasa autograph line was so short, especially when some dub VA the line over had a massive crowd. But everyone in the line was a huge fan and he did an illustration for all of us so it was cool.
Do people really spend like a $100 to go to a con just to show off their cosplay to other people and maybe waste more money on stuff they can buy online?
>>36254Some people go for the guests I guess. I went to my first big con a few months ago, and found the guest panels to be the most interesting thing about it.
Pretty cool stuff. I think smaller cons are a waste but something as big as Anime Expo is more worthwhile.
>>36254There are also guests and panels and talking to likeminded people. I made a few friends waiting in the line for KickHeart. >>36256Funny. This is my third AX and I'm starting to think the exact opposite. It's just too big and too far away and too crowded. Some of the lines were absolutely enormous.
>>36254I went to AX last year and had a pretty good time, even though I don't care about cosplay or whatever. Yoshimune Kouki told me that he liked my hair.
>>36247Did he talk much, what was he like?
>>36259He was really shy. He hid his face behind his hands for most of the kickheart premiere
>>36214Hey I remember those from the other thread!>>36214Hey, I remember those from the other thread! Also, >>36216 and>>36219were really cute!
