Hey, it also pisses me off when a different Civ stages a coup in one of my city-states.
>>41303Crimea has always been ours. There live mostly Russian.
It's funny because Crimea has actually belonged to me this whole time
I wish to be smothered by Cremia's puff-puffs.
>>41313That's what I mean. A recent coup has displaced a pro-Russia, anti-EU government in favor of a pro-EU, anti-Russia government in Ukraine. Putin sent tanks into Crimea because he wants his city-state back.
I can not understand why the whole world is against Russia? U.S. invaded Yugoslavia - this is democracy. Russia invaded Ukraine - this intervention.
>>41320Russia is the bad guy because US said so. Now hush and eat your broccoli Jimmy.
>>41320>I can not understand why the whole world is against Russia? It is because your 'whole world' is limited to US media. To the US, everything they do is justice and everything they disagree with that other countries do is evil.
>>41320The difference is that, unlike the Serbs, the Ukrainians have not attempted ethnic cleansing. There is no "just cause" for Putin's occupation of the Crimea, simply revenge for Ukraine switching sides.
>Asked about the possibility that members of the Group of Eight will not show up at its summit scheduled in Sochi in June, he said: "If they don't want to come, it's OK."
>>41331OH GOD PUTIN IS HOT
>>41330But now there are radical nationalists in the government. They threaten the Russian population in the country.
>>41340Сволочь, ты зачем кота так грохнул?
>>41349С чего ты взял, что этого кота грохнул я?
>>41353Ну а зачем сохранил такую картинку тогда?
>>41357Если понравилась, почему бы и не сохранить?
хуй
>>41359>понравиласьТы живодёр что ли?
>>41391¡Вы слышали, как я сука!
>>41391Какое значение имеет этот вопрос?
>>41393 Where do you live? Stay in place, we now introduce troops there to protect you, the Russian-speaking citizens.
>>41391>>41393>>41394all our russian spammers are gathered in one placewhat are you waiting for mods
>>41405No, this guy >>41393 is not Russian. Russian doesn't have upside-down exclamation marks and I don't know where he got that from. Please don't ban him.
>>41394А то, что ты живодёр и наркоман.
>>41409Sounds like something a russian would say
>>41410Аргументируй.
Crimea has declared independence.Referendum about the future of the state will be held March 16th.>The Crimean Parliament released the Ballot Questions for the 16 March referendum. The referendum questions are:>> "Do you support joining Crimea with the Russian Federation as a subject of Russian Federation?"> "Do you support restoration of 1992 Crimean constitution and Crimea's status as a part of Ukraine?"
>>41494People are gonna be so mad when joining russia wins in a landslide
>>41495except there's no validity to a referendum held under military occupation
>>41496Oh word?
>>41496Iraq drafted an entire new constitution under military occupation. Didn't seem to be any validity issues with that.
Military occupation or not Crimea has no legitimate impetus to split from Ukraine and therefore this is all just for show unless the UN wants to let Crimea, and more importantly Russia, violate international law.
>>41498So did Japan, are you going to complain about that too?
>>41498which, if you exclude the odd explosion, still kept the country in one piece

Putin especially attacked the US/EU/NATO condemnations of the Crimean referendum, arguing that the Crimean vote for independence from Ukraine should be seen in the same light as Kosovo’s vote to secede from Serbia, which the West supported. Putin stated: “Our western partners created the Kosovo precedent with their own hands. In a situation absolutely the same as the one in Crimea they recognized Kosovo’s secession from Serbia legitimate while arguing that no permission from a country’s central authority for a unilateral declaration of independence is necessary…That’s what they wrote, that what they trumpeted all over the world, coerced everyone into it — and now they are complaining. Why is that?”“It’s beyond double standards,” Putin said. “It’s a kind of baffling, primitive and blatant cynicism. One can’t just twist things to fit his interests, to call something white on one day and black on the next one.”(http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/europe/item/17876-putin-annexes-crimea-ukraine-denounces-move-as-robbery)
>>41682Fucking communists with their socialist gobbledygook. They need a solid dose of FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY.
>>41689But Crimea just freed itself through democracy...
>>41690Jimmy, democracy installed with the help of red scum is not TRUE democracy. We're the last bastion of hope on this planet. We need to free them from the soviet shackles and chains or do you hate freedom?
>>41682This sounds nice but the US wasn't trying to absorb Kosovo so it's immediately different.
>>41691but my name isn't jimmy!
>>41693For gods sake Jimmy! Stop quibble over details. We have a more important matter at hand right now.
>>41690Yeah, just like when the Sudetenland was democratically freed from Czechoslovakia.

Uh oh, the very trustworthy US media is reporting that some jews are in trouble in Ukraine. Chances of the US getting directly involved within the next month have jumped 120%
