You may think your eyes are deceiving you, but they are not--there is now captcha on Bunbunmaru. It is only for thread creation, evidently someone somewhere suggested it as a solution to help with the spam. We shall see if it makes any difference.CARRY ON.p.s. If you use the extension, if you quick reply outside of threads you'll see the captcha in the quick reply form but don't need to fill it out. Maybe it'll get updated someday (zzz) to strip it out, but it can be safely ignored for now.
So when are you going to sell /bun/ Passes?
bun devs pls
>>41952We're working on it.>>41953I know, I know, this will be a blow to all those thread makers out there.
>>41954be careful, thread makers are estimated at 50-100% of the /bun/ population
If you're going to update things, you should put in cute flags or something like that! An update that's not cute is an update not worth having.
>>41959I got something cute you can update in your homo ass right here*whips out dick*
>>41959Why not make users use cute account names to post as well? It's totally okay because I called it cute.
>>41964If you want cute names then you need to make cute posts!
Good idea! Thanks for the update.
>>41964You could always block it with the right email field, like ID:Heaven, if people like you feel the need to cry about it. I'm just in favor of cute things, that's all.>>41963Don't like cute things? What are you, a pedophile?
>>41964forced anon is pretty essential for /bun/even if you can guess who a fair number of them are
>>41971shut up VDZ
>>41980fuck off jones
Cute anime girl reaction image dude I saved it myself I hope that's okay
>>41980not even close
>>41951>if you quick reply outside of threads you'll see the captcha in the quick reply form but don't need to fill it out. Maybe it'll get updated someday (zzz) to strip it out, but it can be safely ignored for now. that explains why it was the same captcha 5 times in a row when attempting to do that...
Looks like the built-in captcha didn't work to block spam, I saw some earlier. You might want to replace it with reCAPTCHA.
>>41980Jones, please stick it in meeee- VDZ
>>41998ok......- Jones
>>41957Oh dear...>>41991Yeah, I noticed earlier. I've thought about reCAPTCHA, but the thing is I suspect some of our spam might be done manually (not that I imagine this captcha is hard to break), so I dunno if implementing reCAPTCHA would actually help at all. Plus it's a bunch more work to implement.>>41998>>41999This shit again?
>>42000If they do this manually then at least adding reCAPTCHA would make their daily job harder for them. It might be worth a try.
>>42000>This shit again? Please forgive my rudeness.- VDZ
>>42000I don't think reCAPTCHA is actually that hard to use, but my Wakaba editing days are long over. Anyway, chances are the Wakaba verification code has long been solved by spam programs since it's so simple and it's been around (unchanging) for so long.
>>42003I agree on both accounts. I'm just lazy, but we'll see.
sasuga bun
I'm connecting to /bun/ over IPv6 again yay!
