RIP /general/.Lots of fun shows this season, what are you watching bunbuns?
I've so far checked out Sorayori Tooi Basho, Yuru Camp and Ramen Suki Koizumi-san.Sorayori just introduced two main characters, so I didn't really get a feel for it yet, but I like the character design! Actually a third was sorta introduced: the Lawson girl. She looks really cute in that uniform.
ctd >>56853EP1 of Yuru Camp reminds me of the time when I did a loaded bike tour of nippong. Good times. Rin is adorable.
ctd >>56854Just leaving this here, for ramenkoi.
>>56854This show was surprisingly decent.>>56855This was generic dogshit.
>>56854
>>56854Is this yuri?
>>56871From the first episode, I'd say it's about as Yuri as Yama no Susume.
Pop Team Epic was Pop Team Epic.
Mitsudomoe Mashimaro
RIP general
I Almost finished watching my between season ova collection & only checked out sora yori mo tooi basho so far and found it intriguing enough to be waiting for ep 2. The girls were very cute. then my ISP went out of business. I'm out wardriving for free wireless anime downloads right now and because I'm posting you can guess I'm also downloading a ton of other ep 01s to check out. I've been with that ISP since just before the turn of the century, sad to see them go. I will now have Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier ISP (big baby bell) starting Wednesday and I'm already getting worried about what kind of BS they'll pull with me regarding torrents if any. On the other hand if whomever I'm downloading through right now gets shit for it, that would be kind of funny, but not really. People who leave their excess bandwith capacity free for the taking are nice folks (or pedos who want plausible deniability). Anyone have ISP horror stories or warnings? I'll be back later with screencaps and reviews.*peels out of my parking spot with massive burnout & skid before disappearing like a shot in the dark doing 0-60 like only a subaru can with my stolen cache of hot new anime*
Takagi needs to be smugger and Yuki Kaji please go, but everything else was good about the adaptation.
Cute loli!
Oh shit a seiyuu show with actual direction and story.
basilisk ep 01 was delicious
Violet Evergarden needed a bit more post-processing.
>>56896its astounding to see how far kyoani has fallen from their heydayi dropped that thing in under 5min
They nailed this adaptation.https://my.mixtape.moe/gpiues.webm
>>56883You can always get a cheapo seedbox for all your torrenting needs. That's what I do.I've been with the 4.49 yuro plan herehttps://pulsedmedia.com/free-seedbox.phpfor like 2 years now, and for the price, I don't think it can be beat. There's the hassle of having to torrent to the seedbox and then downloading from the seedbox, but with RSS downloader setup to automatically torrent new episodes each week, it's not that bad. Also, it seems like a fair share of other bunbuns are enjoying Yorimoi as well. Lawson-chang dashing through the streets of Kabuki-chou in ep2 made me made me happy.
Netflix Evergarden looks fine to me.I want to teach Violet the meaning of 愛してる.
>>56899It truly was the 青春 of our time.
Pop Team Epic ep3 second half has NORIO WAKAMOTO as Pipimi. If you're one of the folks watching only one half per episode you should definitely go for the second half on this one.
Beatless second episode was absolutely not what I was expecting after the first.
>>56966Yeah, though I was definitely getting the vibe that something is going to go wrong big time.
And now episode 3 was even weirder. The OST is as eccentric as the plot.
this is the 2nd season in a row that theres been a show dedicated to OLs getting hammered after work. there must be a large class of lonely alcoholic career women in japan, i bet they put out like crazy. i wonder what it would be like to be a successful alcoholic japanese career woman's stay at home gaijin sex toy? its would probably be comfy with a lot of baths
>>56978You don't understand what it means to be man.
>>56978>i bet they put out like crazylol no
Fate/Extra is very different from the game. It seems to be going for a somewhat original story.
Yuri Yuri Camp still best of the season.
Anime discussion, come back.
>>57060Clearly all the anime discussion posters were on /general/.
>>57060Honestly, I haven't really been watching anything new this season. Too busy with other aspects of life.
>>57060I watched 8 episodes of this, which may be the most anime I have watched in years. Not bad.
>>57071Well it is AOTS, so you could have done a lot worse.
>>57071>now that 4chan is no longer considered cool i can't be asked to watch anime anymore, but i remember back in the days after i got involved protesting scientology i was really into anime and watched everything that i needed to watch to fit in with the kewl kids at 4cans, but i'm way too busy with snapchat and IG these days to watch animeok thanks for filling us in
>>57102Thanks for the blog update
Waiting for Gun gale alternative in what feels like an anime wasteland.
Well, that was alright. The mary sue didn't quite suffer enough in the final arc, but I guess it's my own fault for expecting the consequences of her actions to be something other than magicked away so you can't even tell anything happened to her in the end.
>>57197This season was the best we've had in a year or two probably, as far as watchable shows goes.
RIP Marchen Madchen
>I'm so fucked up.Death March was very enjoyable.
>>57230It was so fucking tame and undaring though. They always do this shit with the super-OP protags where they just sideline the fact he's a living unstoppable GOD and instead focus on inane bullshit and try to promote the side characters. 12 episodes and he barely left the starter town. Konosuba parodied this shit years ago.
>>57259There is no room for conflict when the main character is stupidly powerful. Generally, the story gets that conflict by making the main character less than omni-potent, and then political drama unfolds -- that or slice of life stuff where the character's background matter less than their personality and playful interactions with the other characters.Stories that have a stupid powerful main character slaughtering all who oppose him with no challenge to overcome, like Fist of the North Star, generally get stale and repetitive to watch due to there being no challenge, when the journy is just a road that takes time to travel along. Now, has the formula with a lazy good-for-nothing main character who could save the world but can't be assed been done to death with the classic nip copycat iteration with no innovation? yes. But, there still needs to be some sort of challenge to be overcome.
I'm convinced that "isekai" is Japanese for "irredeemable garbage".
>>57278>There is no room for conflict when the main character is stupidly powerful. We just had Overlord season 2 proving otherwise last season, though.
hello i enjoy darling in the franxx is this ok
